    I agree- I think that Singapore is easy to teach if you get the materials and it's pretty cheap.

    My DD is 4. She knows all the letter names and sounds. When she sounds out a word like "cat" she can say "c aaaa t" but not connect the dots to get the word. Is she just not ready? It's baffling to me how she can say the word, but not understand it.

    We do, but I make sure that I keep them away from other kids/ the elderly.
