"People losing autonomy over how they share their bodies is not a joke. It isn’t sexy. It also isn’t just pornography. Moral conundrums over the porn industry aside, porn is produced with the expectation that many people will view it. This photo dump lets anyone with the desire to step into private moments of people who did not choose to invite others in for a peek. Actions like this contribute to rape culture and blaming the victim instead of addressing how thieves and viewers of these pictures removes other people’s rights to privacy.

Consumption drives markets. Viewing these pictures encourages this to happen again. It’s wrong, and the choice should be clear: don’t look at nudes that weren’t intended for your eyes. Acting against another person is wrong, whether a screen is between you or not."

  2. I agree it sounds more like I would want an eval for type 1 at her age- I'm in the process of trying to see an endo for a type 1.5 eval myself. My sugar was 194 and the doc said anything under 200 is fine and won't write me one yet.

  3. The paint won't work on the stove and ovens, as they would need a high heat paint. The dishwasher panel could probably be painted and look ok. Not great, but ok. The fridge would have too much texture for the stainless paint. They have appliance epoxy paint, that is usually white or almond. It works fairly well on fridges, and would work on the dishwasher. It is not designed for use on hot appliances, though. If you are determined to paint, avoid the stainless paint and at least use appliance epoxy. You may not think that you much to lose, but crappy paint can make the whole situation *much* worse.

Have you checked craigslist? You can find some good deals on appliances from people upgrading from white to stainless. Habitat Restore or used appliance stores also can have good deals.

The best upgrades I have seen, where existing appliances or plumbing fixtures had to stay, are the upgrades that work with the fixtures, instead of pretending the fixtures are different. If you can't beat em, join em. Painting cabinets or walls the color of the offensive fixture, helps the fixture not stand out. Choosing coordinating fabric for curtains helps pull it together. Find some kitschy 70's Pyrex or dishes to accessorize. Embrace the avocado, because it will eventually be back in style ;)

    7) Can it handle the heat of a stove, oven, oven hood, range top and fireplace?

Yes, Thomas' Stainless SteelTM will withstand surface temperatures up to 300 F - so it's fine for your -

    - gas and electric range and range top

    - oven door

    - glass oven door

    - wall oven

    - vent hood

    - most fireplaces

    It's not normal paint. :)

  4. I don't know if anyone else has said this! buy at her age I would not try to sneak extra calories in by adding fat and stuff to foods. If she hopes to long term be an athlete, she needs to understand the need to fuel her body for health. Sneaking extra calories in doesn't address that she isn't eating enough on her own and doesn't give her any ownership of this issue.

I really wish as a really thin teen someone would have better explained to me the actual need to take in enough calories.

If she decides she wants to do that via shakes or adding to normal foods, cool.

  5. I have a call in with her neuro & I'm waiting for a callback. She's still sleeping- 13 hours after she went down for the night. I keep checking her but she's just wiped. She's also on some extra medicine to help and it's really knocking her back. :(

  6. My seven year old has epilepsy. It's mostly well controlled. This morning she had a seizure that didn't stop on it's own and I had to call an ambulance. I gave her meds to stop it and she spent some time in the er.

She was blue. All the way blue. And it took 6.5 mins to stop.

    My poor baby. :(
