  1. So many things. A few lap quilts, some knitting projects, a cowl and some fingerless gloves, I would like to learn to sew tops for myself too.
  2. Christmas Eve we go to church and cook something relatively easy. Sometimes the in laws will join us. (We do our family celebrations the weekend before spreads things out more for the girls, one who would get overwhelmed if we tried to pack it all in couple of days). We stay in pajamas all day Christmas. Food is easy, the girls get sugar cereal (a rare treat) so that is often breakfast. I made gluten free monkey bread this year too. Other food is easy and more like appetizer/munchie stuff. We play games and watch movies. It is lovely.
  3. Thank you for all the great suggestions. I am looking forward to being able to start yoga again in the new year (got my post surgery all clear) :)
  4. My girls like those archeology digs from the Target $1 spot. They got one with some gemstones and one with a "fossil" in it. Also some Shopkins socks were a hit (also Target dollar spot). I ordered them a metal Jr. Ranger badge from eparks.com they loved that too.
  5. Us too. It's wonderful! ETA, not saying we don't celebrate, we just spread it out. Extended family is usually the 2nd weekend of December, our parents/siblings none of whom have kids are the weekend before Christmas usually. Once the big events are done we still sometimes see some of them again, it is just switched to super casual (even more so than the already casual things we do). For example, we will head to church tomorrow morning with SIL and maybe meal with her.
