  1. I would look at your state requirements (scope/sequence) for Biology. IF is says basic human systems/anatomy are supposed to be covered, I would. Health is a completely different course. It would be better to have studied the body/systems before tackling Health. Health is only a one semester course in TN, so you won't have time to cover the details in that class. JMO. Linda
  2. THANKS!! I 've been away from the computer for a while will definitely check out your suggestions. Linda
  3. I would suggest getting testing. Sounds like Dylsexia to me.
  4. My dd is entering 9th grade and has Dyslexia and a math disability. Will the Key to Algebra be enough? I'm also looking at LoF and TT. Thoughts? Linda
  5. We liked the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace for teens. Has DVD, workbook, and test w/ answer key.
  6. I'm also a PT and my program was just 15 months, almost 30 years ago now all of them are DPTs. I would suggest a degree in health and fitness or health management along with the PT prerequistes.
  7. OR have you used: http://fascinatingeducation.com/ Decisions, decisions.....
  8. Which one or both? If there is a thread discussing this, I can't find it.
  9. I'm late to the party, but I have a 14yo dd who is starting high school. She chose to stay home because of her Dyslexia. She has a fear of going to school....
  10. Has anyone used: http://www.legendarylearningnow.com/articles/unit-studies/high-school-biology/using-the-resources/ Seems very CM and hands on.
  11. I wish we had the option for one or two classes AT the high school. In TN it is all or nothing.
