  1. Our bodies don't absorb Vitamin D if we are low in magnesium and potassium.
  2. I would consider looking into this protocol that seeks to balance your minerals. I see several have mentioned magnesium, which is great! Magnesium is needed for 700 functions in our bodies. Most people are lacking in magnesium. But, magnesium needs to be balanced with potassium or you still end up with health issues. I have been following this protocol for four years now and have seen so many health benefits. I sleep well at night and wake up rested. I used to need a nap in the afternoon, but have felt so much better that I was able to start my own business this year. Here is the link to the protocol. https://therootcauseprotocol.com/ They have a manual to download with recommended sources of magnesium. Calm isn't a recommended one as it is made from citrate.
  3. We have had a few mother cats do this. There were two that shared last year. We weren't really sure whose kittens belong to who as they all showed up around the same time. There were 8 kittens between the two mothers.
  4. You had deleted the other post before I got to read it, but this seems like bordering on crazy town obsession. Let this go. Break ups and rejection happens. Teach your son how to deal with it and process is feeling and move on. He will find his person eventually. This girl is not it.
  5. I was always under the impression that many times people that did have learning issues gravitated towards cosmetology. They seem to do well in that field because they relate well with others and have a talent in that area. I can't imagine that there would be a lot of bookwork. I would think it would be more hands-on learning. I would encourage her to speak to them about what the program entails or Google what other schools teach. You might be able to get an idea then. Our town has Joseph's school of beauty and Xenon.
  6. I don't think you all are taking this seriously enough. Stalking and cyber stalking is extremely dangerous. She needs to take steps immediately to protect herself. She should have changed phones as soon as she left the state. I'm worried for her. Stalkers have a tenandacy to do the unthinkable.
  7. The location of the litter boxes in the previous discussion was in Iowa. https://www.iowa.media/2022/01/01/2021-more-people-are-discussing-students-identifying-as-cats-in-schools/
  8. I would do a natural wood or darker stained wood.
  9. I had covid in December. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid.
  10. Isn't there a snow storm in PA right now?
  11. This is where I saw it. Maybe she used a different rental site, but this is the one that came up when I googled. https://www.happiestbaby.com/products/snoo-rental How do I return SNOO, when my baby is ready for a crib? Easy! Just click here, and we will email you a return label. Your account will be charged a $59.50 return shipping fee. Important: Save your original SNOO box + inserts to use when you return the bed. You are responsible for any damage to SNOO related to inadequate packaging. (Use of packaging not approved by Happiest Baby—or improper use of packaging provided by Happiest Baby—may result in severe damage to the product during shipping.)
  12. I think she is making this more difficult then it needs to be. Their website says she just needs to print off a the shipping label. Once you have a return label, you can do anything with it -- drop it off at a local FED Ex drop off location (Walgreens, etc.) or schedule a pick up at your house.
  13. I would have them drop off to Fed Ex or arrange for Fed Ex pickup at your house. There is no way I would go sit at their house and wait for it to be picked up.
  14. Every November before I host Thanksgiving. So, once a year, but I have to do it today because something smells in there.
  15. I doubt those would be on sale. I've never used a stove top one. As far as the IP breaking, I've had one of mine for 5 years and it's still going strong. From what I've seen in their facebook group, IP is pretty good about replacing them if they do break.
  16. I love my Instant Pots. I've got more than one now because I was using them so much. My favorite one is the 6 qt. duo. I didn't check the price on it over prime day, but the last one I bought I paid around $49 for. With Black Friday sales coming again, you would probably find one around that price or less. I use mine to make applesauce, yogurt, meatloaf, rice, mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes, jelly, pulled pork (the best!), pork chops, and roasts. I've made other things in it also, such as cheesecake (the best!), bread, and spaghetti. I love how tender a roast comes out in the Instant Pot. They are so tender. I made one today in the crock pot and it wasn't as good. The Instant Pot does have a learning curve, but if you put in a little time to figure it out, it does pay off. I've figured out how to estimate the pressurization time and factor that into my cooking. I love mine. If I had to choose between my crock pot and my instant pot now (after owning one for 5 years), I'd probably choose the Instant Pot.
  17. I thought he looked pretty good. He looked rested and healthy to me.
  18. Low magnesium causes low vitamin D. There is a lot of information on this site. It focuses on magnesium, potassium, and sodium, along with Vitamin C. I've been following the protocol here for the past 2 1/2 years. It's eliminated a ton of the health issues I was having -- migraines, vertigo, heart palpitations, tinnitus, exhaustion. This might give them something to consider. https://therootcauseprotocol.com/all-resources/
  19. I'm so sorry. My dad has parkinson's and it's been hard to watch his progression over the past three years. This is what I would do. I would start following this protocol. https://therootcauseprotocol.com/ I had my parents on it for a few months, but they were not good about following it. I have been following this protocol for the past 2 1/2 years. It helped eliminate my migraines, brain fog, heart palpitations, numbness in my face & legs, and fatigue.
  20. I have twice, last fall and this spring. I'm planning on working Nov. 3rd also. It's been pretty easy and the money is a nice bonus. This last time I was an inspector and had to check over each polling location to make sure they were set up correctly.
  21. Look up Pioneer Woman's recipe. It's the best.
  22. I heard prime day was moved to September. OP, I am a tad confused as to what type of appliance you are looking for. The Instant Pot is better known as a pressure cooker, not as a slow cooker. It does have that feature, but it doesn't work that well. I have several Instant Pots, but don't use them for slow cooking. I personally would not give up my slow cooker. Instant Pot has several items for air frying. They have a lid that you can use on the IP pressure cooker to crisp items/air fry with and they have stand alone air fryers. I have the stand alone one. I don't use it often. Hopefully this fall I'll have time to play with it some more and figure out it's functions.
  23. I think a lot of special occasion dresses are labeled that way, but they are safe to hand wash. What is the dress made of? I used to be leary of how to wash items like that too, until I worked in a bridal shop and found out that the owner would take bridal gowns home and throw them in her machine. I decided after that that most dresses aren't that delicate after all.
