  1. Its mostly been nursing and chasing two others around the house lol. That and I was never able to really relax after we got home even though I had a csection. My DH was back at work a week PP and church, scouts and life just kept going. Now that I have been released I am going to start walking regularly.
  2. Ok I am 6 wks pp and down 25 pounds which puts me 4 pounds below my pre-pregnancy weight. My goal is to lose another 20 pounds between now an January 1. I need to lose about another 100 pounds to be at a healthier weight.
  3. Do you need the teacher's manual for this? I was thinking about using it next year with my K'er but didn't know if the teacher's manual was a requirement.
  4. Yea I feel weird complaining about 62 when I loved the weather in Utah even when it was below freezing lol. I live where there is plenty of humidity and I think that is part of my issue. That and maybe post partum hormones lol
  5. I finally got the willpower to put on warmer clothes and at the same time I found my gloves with the fingertips cut off....I am wearing those now so I can work without my hands cramping up since I can't type and keep them under the covers lol.
  6. I am sitting under a quilt with the baby in my lap wrapped up in his warmest blanket and I am still cold. Sadly I have no say when it comes to the temperature here so I will remain here until I have the willpower to crawl out and find my socks and sweatshirt
  7. I am just curious if anyone else thinks 62 is a little too cold for inside the house.
  8. How I wish DS1 would sleep in. He is never in bed past 8:15 while it is now 9:30 and DD is still asleep and DS2 is napping in his swing. If DS1 was someone who slept in I could have grabbed another hour or so of sleep lol.
  9. I rarely get a pic of ds1 looking at the camera if he is holding ds2. He is smitten with his brother.
  10. I am very blessed to have a good friend who is also a professional photographer. I have to share the first professional photo of all three of my kiddos which just happens to be our Christmas picture this year. PTL for good friends who understand how important these photos are even when we can't afford to pay her for them.
  11. I had a rabbit growing up named Peter. Obvious reference will be left unwritten lol
  12. The love boardies have for each other is amazing. I pray I teach my dc to show love to strangers like the boardies here do.
  13. My oldest was this way. I got an exercauser that literally had one toy left on it. He would jump so hard he would lift the thing off the floor. Thankfully it gave me an oppurtunity to at least have free arms even if I did still have to talk to him and bring him the occasional new toy to bang with. Thankfully he outgrew the constant need for attention but he still doesn't play alone well and is on medication for ADHD because without it I am pulling my hair out by noon!
  14. Wish it were colder

Well today it is slightly cooler and I am wishing my inlaws understood that 62 is a little too cool in the house

  15. If anyone has boys size 10 and girls size 5t jeans we could really use them here. My husband finally got a job after 5 years but with the addition of ds2 last month things are really tight. Also puzzles, games and 4/5th grade books for boys would make my older 2 very happy.
  16. Here is a link with additional links and info on the topic. Sorry its all I could do with a wiggly 5 week old in my arms http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=51619
  17. harnessing as long as possible is the safest option...I can't quote statistics at the moment hands full of baby but there is a reason race car drivers were harnesses and not seat belts lol
  18. lowback for dd and graco nautalis for ds....it will keep him harnessed another 25 pounds and converts to a highback then lowback very much worth it
  19. The HSBC Math Mammoth sale ends tonight. Last chance to get it at 50 percent off.
  20. What I find sad is that all that furniture could have gone to a family in need instead of just being thrown away. Couches, beds, bookcases are always in need by somebody!
  21. Woot!! We actually had a pretty good day other than DS being tired because I woke him up this morning instead of letting him sleep until he woke on his own.
  22. And this is where you say sit and enjoy your stay. Our house, our problems ETA: Send them home or put them to work if they can't quit griping. Can't stand that cr*p!
