  1. My 6yo loves Squish, Sticky Burr, Amulet and Bone. Also graphic versions of Greek myths.
  2. Or maybe it was all a dream... Hmmm...I think they can do better. I wonder what Colin Firth is doing?
  3. I just hope Dan Stevens does well and doesn't end up on Dancing With The "Stars" in a couple years. Any Season 4 predictions? Edith finally gets happy? Matthew's mom marries the doctor? Branson hooks up with Mary? Just kidding (I hope).
  4. Love the Dowager Countess and Lady Edith. Tired of Matthew and Mary.
  5. I love it. The plot is pretty soap opera-ish, but it's oh so pretty to look at. I watch it alone though. My husband would rather be stabbed repeatedly with a dull butter knife :).
  6. I heard it was terrible, but I totally want to see it!
  7. We give one gold or silver dollar per tooth.
  8. This week I finished #7: The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I loved this book and couldn't put it down! Now I need to see the movie. So far this year: 1. Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey 2. The Great Gatsby 3. The Night Circus 4. A Study in Scarlet 5. The Red Pyramid 6. The Throne of Fire 7. The Perks of Being A Wallflower Reading this week: 1. A Storm of Swords 2. History of the Ancient World 3. Sense and Sensibility 4. The Serpent's Shadow 5. Outlander (audiobook)
  9. We used Singapore Science at that age.
  10. I'll admit to being amused by Beavis & Butthead. And I love Daria! I also like The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad nd South Park. I draw the line at Tosh.0 though.
  11. I just started listening to audiobooks. I listen while exercising mostly. It makes time on the elliptical more bearable. It does take me forever to get through a book that way.
  12. My son needs to be tasked pretty much constantly or his behavior goes downhill fast.
  13. My 6 year old gets 10-10 1/2 hours per night. He's usually asleep by 9 and gets up between 7 and 7:30.
  14. We do Vicks VapoRub on the feet. Works like a charm.
  15. I want to be either the Dowager Countess or or Ouiser from Steel Magnolias. Since we aren't rich and we are Southern, it will probably be Ouiser :).
  16. We had the larger pyramid. I would be disappointed in the smaller one too! And it seems like they have kept the price about the same.
  17. The Thames and Kosmos one was a huge hit here. It was worth every penny!
  18. My husband and I are big football fans, but I would discourage my son from playing.
  19. This week I finished reading The Throne of Fire to my son and we started on The Serpent's Shadow. I'm so ready to be done with this series! So far this year: 1. Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey 2. The Great Gatsby 3. The Night Circus 4. A Study in Scarlet 5. The Red Pyramid 6. The Throne of Fire Reading this week: 1. A Storm of Swords. Still. 2. History of the Ancient World 3. The Perks of Being A Wallflower 4. Sense and Sensibility 5. The Serpent's Shadow Plus I just got a few great deals on Audible today (including the first 3 books of the Outlander series for $3.99 each). I hope to start listening to Outlander this week. A week with Jamie and Claire is always a good week :).
  20. 1. Lydia, Vivian, Eva, Charles, Simon 2. Eleanor (doesn't go with our last name), Miriam, Patrick (would always think of the starfish) 3. I like old lady names :).
