  1. Thank you so much for sharing this link! I just finished listening and he was awesome! I feel like I understand the way my son is hardwired to think so much better now. I loved the suggestion of holding up 2 fingers when he is making annoying noises :)
  2. I bought the first unit in digital + print. I will buy the next unit in the digital version. I am using it for LG only so I don't need to print very much. I love that they will allow you to upgrade to print for the price difference if you buy digital only but then decide you would like print as well. That being said I am glad I bought the first unit printed because it allowed me to get a great feel for the program. I think I may have been too overwhelmed to just use it digitally from the beginning.
  3. I recieved mine within 48 hours. I was told it could take 7-14 days.
  4. I used to watch it when I was pregnant with my first. I did a quick Google and came up with this: http://drphil.com/shows/page/family_archive/
  5. I am reading The Ministry of Motherhood this week. I am glad we are going to read Ahab's Wife and Moby Dick as a group. I am looking forward to tackling those!
  6. Hello! I am going to join as well. I wanted to last year but never got to it. My first book is Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastination and Get More Done in Less Time by Brian Tracy. So far the book has been very helpful. I am glad to be participating in the challenge this time around :) Happy Reading!
  7. :iagree: I have done WW and the Lose It app. Both are great and since I am not wanting to spend the $$ right now I will be using the Lose It app starting today.
  8. I'm not sure if any shampoo can really quench 'thirsty' hair but I have the same hair type and use this: http://www.vitacost.com/Desert-Essence-Organics-Hair-Care-Shampoo-Coconut I was surprised at how well it works and I only have to use a small (quarter sized) amount. With cheapish shampoos I usually have to wash more than once and use a large amount. Oh, and my friends that recommended this said the other scents left their hair feeling greasy.
  9. We have one. It's the one that is 4x4 squares. My only regret is that I didn't buy the next size up because our books seem to multiply. I did notice some scratching in one of the cubes that I have a plastic book basket in. I put some felt on the bottom to prevent further damage. I haven't noticed any scratching from books or binders. Hope this helps :)
  10. I came across this tutorial as well, after looking into how much the costumes are going for ($50+ yikes!) Anyhow, she did a wonderful job with the tutorial and I am halfway done with the black bird for my DS :). I am also making the red one for my DD. I used felt and spent less than $14 for all the materials. I love a good deal!
  11. We just finished The Whipping Boy and it was tough! We took turns reading that one aloud page by page :)
  12. Thank you for sharing this is so helpful!!
  13. Yep! I bought this one about 6 months ago and love it! I have saved a lot of trips to the office supply store and money since getting it.
  14. The standards edition is aligned to California state standards in math. At least that is my understanding. My DS is just finishing up with the standards edition 1B.
