I recently bought the Well Planned Day homeschool planner online software. Unfortunately, we ended up starting school late, because we received our materials late. (We are serving as missionaries overseas). That's when the problems started. I was ready to start inputting curriculum, lessons, etc. But I couldn't even add my children to the program. When I corresponded with the company through e-mail, I got a letter stating they would send my problem to IT, and to e-mail customer service for a refund. However, when I e-mailed them, they told me it was past the "30 day" mark since I bought the program, and they couldn't help me. Now, first of all, this is in their FAQ section online, and it was not presented during the purchase of the program nor in the receipts of purchase. Secondly, it is an online program! They can see that I have been unable to do anything with it, so it is clear that I'm not trying to cheat them out of anything. I'm honestly having a problem. So, what do I do? I feel like they don't care, they've got their money, so tough for me. I feel bad because our homeschooling materials are paid for by kind people who support our ministry, and I try really hard to be a good steward of that money. This program was not cheap.
