Yes I think longtime members can be trolls. I really don't think you can do much about it. I mean if they are selling but not following through I guess you could but...other than that. I don't think they do much until it becomes a big issue. Now PM me and tell me who you suspect!! :tongue_smilie:

Could you possibly give them the benefit of the doubt? I am sure it was a hard decision for them. Maybe their taxes were much more than they had anticipated. Dh and I have had to cancel a bunch of plans based on finances. It's life. It stinks. It's downright disappointing at times. BUT sometimes doing the hard thing is the right thing and the only responsible thing. Fortunately our cancelled plans haven't affected anyone else like this has you. I think if you step back and try to understand you still will be understandably disappointed but maybe you will see that they had no other option too.

Well you can either be bitter and feel "backed into a corner" or you can embrace it and enjoy it. Your choice.

The strongest thing I took was motrin and tylenol. The combination of the 2 really helped. My miscarriage that happened naturally was like a really bad period. I was 11 weeks along.

This has been our experience exactly. I would never buy Pfaltzgraff again. It chipes easy and it had tons of silverware markings. My fiestaware has been banged, dropped, etc. and I have had no chips and none have broken!! I am amazed!! We have had out fiesta Ware for 2 years. I have never gone this long without a broken dish! lol

I have a brand new one but it is not a high end model. It does not lock.

My top loader does not lock but as soon as you open it, it stops. It will not restart until it is closed.

I was like you, kindly making small talk taking their literature even though we do not agree whatsoever with JW. UNTIL the last time they came. My infant ds had been sick and not sleeping and keeping me awake. They rang the doorbell after I FINALLY got him down for a nap. :glare: They have not been back..and probably won't be for a very long time.

Does she go to your church? This would be a really tough situation to have to deal with. I would start wondering if I needed to get someone else involved if this lady went to my church. I would want to let someone know that is usually in charge of the meals or something. I do get that it could be gossipy, but....I don't know. This woman needs a MAJOR wake up call. if it had been me, I would've just chalked it up to a loss and a lesson.
