  1. We used FLL together with MCT Island & Town....they match up great and helps were MCT lacks. Love them both and was always glad I did them together. It can be a little grammar overload...just spread it out. You know what your child can handle.
  2. My experience with the 4H public speaking has been great. Looking on line for your local 4H Cooperative Extension.
  3. I'm looking for feed back on Science Fusion too. Plum Crazy...I see your 8 year old is using it. What do you think ? I think it's the K kit that is $30.00. If you scroll down on the order form you will see the other grades $ listed.
  4. Has anyone used Science Fusion by Saxon? Really need some help!
  5. I have had my kindle for over a year now and love it, my son is just starting to read on it now. Something about real books for kids, magical and a sense of accomplishment when they finish one.
  6. Pricey but Supercharged science looks cool and interactive.
  7. Mixon is fun, Edison is great, Mote is fun and sometimes has homeschool events, as does G Wiz, The Childrens Garden in Sarasota is nice and a book to read to go with it is Snuffy the dragon..sorry can't remember the whole name, it's late. Siesta Key is a beautiful must see beach, so is Desoto State Park. Have fun. Shelling in the am at sanibel is fun too!
  8. Can anyone tell me if they feel SOTW is primarily biblical based?
  9. If you have Netflix, go to the documentary/science genre....tons available for both history and science. These are instand downloads so you don't have to wait for the disk. My son loves these and I'm almost always able to find something that goes with our topics.
