Preparing exit exams is nerve wracking for parents.

Two weeks to my oldest daughter's wedding.Two days until my first grandchild turns 9 months. About two months until the youngest graduates high school. And ten months since we got the news my oldest and only son died. I am a bundle of emotions.

It's three days to Christmas, and dh is vacuuming up all the ladybugs that have invaded our house...

My dad was looking at the Christmas tree one year, a few days post-Christmas. It appeared to be covered in bugs. Upon closer inspection, he saw it was actually COVERED IN TICKS!!! The heat had caused all the tick eggs (?) to hatch. Needless to say, he got the tree out of the house in less than a minute!

My poor daughter has gone from gluten free to gluten and dairy free. Ugh.

Nice christmas present: mailman just delivered the original 8th grade certificate of dd. We are done with exams for a while... :)

I just realized that when DD sings My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, she replaces all instances of "Bonnie" with "body."

I just figured out that the MCT ibook page numbers don't match the physical books. This is good to know when the teacher is assigning based on page number.
