I am a very hands on mother and teacher. I have my Masters Degree in teaching. My problem is - my mother has been in hospice for the last month and my dad is 88 - I need a little stress out of my life. If I could use an online school for just the framework for our school day and then supplement - I think then I wouldn't completely lose my mind. I have been using TOG and WTM and teaching my kids and my nephews. Thank you for your input!!!!!

I wanted to try an online "school" and or classes next year. Is there anybody out there pleased with online schooling?? My girls will be in 5th grade and 7th grade. I have been homeschooling for 7 years now and need a little change. Thanks.

Your idea sounds very interesting - what grade level are you talking about??? We do a lot of different types of book reports too - not always just questions and answers.

Better late than never - right??? New to the board but I have been lurking for years. We live about 10 miles east of Edmond on about 200 acres. I have been homeschooling for 6 years. I have 2 daughters 11 and 9. I am a former public school teacher. That is my story and I'm sticking with it!!!! :)

This is my first posting on the new board. My daughter, soon to be 11, would like to write to somebody both Internationally and somewhere in the States. She has a pen pal now, but it is turning out to be a one way street. She likes to get things in the mail - so I wouldn't mind doing it the old fashioned way - through the post office - maybe develope into emailing????? Thanks!!
