  1. I just got an email from them saying that they give priority to teachers in schools and that their inventories are allocated until Feb 2015. They are willing to put homeschoolers on waiting lists if we are interested. HTH with your planning.
  2. From a box is a side dish and homemade is a main dish here.
  3. Sheppard geography games & Stack the Countries app are favorites here.
  4. Have you seen this from Bravewriter? http://www.bravewriter.com/bwl/copywork/
  5. We will be using Guesthollow Geography this year for our younger kids and Harmony Art Geography for the older ones.
  6. This is so true in our household, too. Workboxes have also been a lifesaver. We don't necessarily go in order, so the kids know that if they need to wait for me, they can find their other assignments in the boxes and are welcome to work on them. The incentive is that the sooner they get their work done, the sooner they can go play. If there just isn't anything they can do without me, they will often go outside and play until I'm available.
  7. I wanted the same thing, so we will be using OneNote for our schedule this year. Like Penguin said, it is very easy.
  8. My 10yo son loved legos, but over the past few months he has been building with them less...he still does, just not as often. Right now he is big into models, rocketry and building rc planes from foam board. So, still building, just different materials ;)
  9. My son is also chomping at the bit, but you have to be 12 to join. What he is doing right now is the EAA Young Eagles (which include free online ground school), X Plane, and building his own RC Planes out of Dollar Tree foam board and free plans from Flite Test (and learning tons about lift, drag, etc.) Maybe some of these activities will hold him over until he is old enough ;)
  10. With PayPal you can cancel a recurring payment: Login to your account. At the top of the page go to Settings. On the left side, go to Payment preferences and then My Preapproved Payments. From there you can click on the merchant and cancel/change settings. Hopefully that will take care of future billings... If the payment that they owe you was done through PayPal, contact PayPal and they should be able to help you ~ I have had problems in the past and PayPal was very helpful. Good luck!
  11. Perfect! This is exactly what I need for the fall :) Thank you so much!!

  13. My son love to build RC planes. There is a company called Flite Test who offers plane for sale or the plans to make your own for free. They are made out of dollar tree foam board (nice and cheap!) and look great!

  22. I like the ELAN oversized planners found here: http://www.elanpublish.com/wide-format-plan-books.cfm . They look like a standard planner, but the right hand pages fold out to make them larger. Love the extra space to get all the info in!
