  1. You can do a search for CLE or Christian Light and there are several threads that may help you. I second the recommendation to check out the yahoo group. Good luck :)
  2. I read about a book event for children this weekend too. Ahh... here it is: Farragut Book Fest at Campbell Station Park (next to Farragut Library). http://www.knoxville.org/events/2826356/ We'll be out of town for a wedding so we'll miss out on fun K-town activities this weekend.
  3. We make chicken salad and eat with crackers or on bread. Sliced apples and carrots with special yummy pb dip is a favorite. Hmm... popcorn or pretzles to munch and if we pack a cooler then hard boiled eggs, too! I'm getting hungry...
  4. yeah, I'm still only 5'3 and 3/4" but I can pass for 5'4".
  5. Boy, was it! Thank you for sharing your story and a warm thank you to your daughter for serving our country. I thought I was crying while reading the story, but the waterworks went into full effect as I saw the pictures of your "moment". Hugs from another military family.
  6. Ohh... chills... tears... that is a fabulous story!
  7. Ahh! I am quite unsure why I didn't look at Amazon first! I order from that site frequently. :) Thanks for the heads up.
  8. I am planning to use SOTW next year, but as I was browsing the Usborne website I did not find the Usborne Book of World History. Is this oop? If that's the case, hopefully I can find a used copy. Thanks for any info/suggestions.
  9. I am in K - very close to 140 and OR. :) As for McKay... I could and do spend hours there.
  10. I kept peanut butter crackers by the bed and like the pp ate a few before raising my head off the pillow. I also sucked on lemon drops a lot. The main thing I did to stave off nausea was to make sure I didn't let my stomach empty. Not to say I ate 12 meals a day :) but I always had something with me like pretzels or crackers.
  11. And I am pretty new to the forum, but seeing that Phred only had about 5 posts (on the new forum) and only in two threads (both controversial) I thought I'd ask. I am not getting into this disussion, nor did I participate in the other - just curious. Found it odd that of all the discussions that take place here that are constructive - Phred chose to only participate in the more hostile. Apparently I was mistaken in my theory. (Yeah, that won't be the last time, either!) :001_smile:
  12. I do too... just rolled in from the Casting Crowns show... unbelievable.
  13. Just curious, but are you a "regular" poster here in a costume? I've noticed the only times you have posted have been for the more controversial topics.
  14. but I heard how wonderful Shout to the Lord was... just d/led from iTunes and WOW! Another Simon fan here. :)
  15. I too am very fair skinned and use Bare Escentuals. It is expensive when you compare the cost to drug store formulas, however I do wear it every day and one container will last me about a year. I heard that Target was going to start carrying BE so you don't have to live near a BE store or Sephora to be able to purchase in person! Best of luck :)
  16. I second the mention of Anna Banana. My dd got that for Christmas and loves it. As for jump ropes I struggled at Christmas to find ropes of good quality, but had luck at The School Box. They carry the plastic kind the pp mentioned, but I purchased a thick multicolored rope that is knotted on the end. Great quality and I believe they had a few different sizes... Here is the type we have: http://www.tpesonline.com/product.phtml?product_id=25091
  17. Oh, my dd was fine and yes I bf both my girls. My oldest was never sick, my youngest... we weren't as lucky.
  18. And then there are situations like the one I posted earlier, where my newborn (less than 2 weeks old) was exposed to Pertussis (NOT at the Drs office, by the way). She had not received her vaccination yet.
  19. Looks nice - wish there were more views/pictures. Anj, did you purchase the base model or deluxe? Is it as fabulous as it looks?
  20. If you're talking about your #1 (next to the scale in your above post) and the #2 on my post - it is the post order in each thread.
