  1. I haven't ordered from there yet, but I recently listened to a podcast about them (Meal Makeover Moms). You can go through their link:http://mealmakeovermoms.com/kitchen/2015/05/13/free-trial-membership-for-thrive-market/ It's for a free 60 day membership and $10 credit. I plan on trying it as well. Hope that helps :)! Tina
  2. We've stayed here several times: http://www.residencesatbiltmore.com It has always been a wonderful experience for us and it's exceptionally clean. It's a few miles from downtown. We've eaten at Early Girl too and it's delicious. We also enjoyed Tupelo Honey! My favorite though is 12 Bones!! You must try their ribs with blueberry chipotle sauce! Trust me, it sounds weird, but it works. We have stayed at The Grove Park Inn as well. It is a beautiful place. I still prefer the Residences at Biltmore. We did one of the trolley tours that departs from the Visitors Center and we really enjoyed it. Tina
  3. I didn't ever use a bag for bananas until a few weeks ago. I can't remember why I did start (I may have read about it somewhere), but for some reason it seems to keep them from getting too ripe too quickly for me.
  4. My hands down favorite read of 2013 was Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I loved it!! Tina
  5. These are coming back!! Since reading that they haven't been available, guess what I've been craving? Anyway, here's the link:http://www.astropopcandy.com I can't believe they haven't been made since 2004. Tina
  6. I agree wholeheartedly! I remember seeing the video several months ago and I was bawling by the end of it. Tina
  7. I've read good things about penfed. Their rates are really good and it looks pretty easy to join. Good luck! Tina
  8. This is just heartbreaking. I am so, so sorry!! You and your sweet family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  9. Thanks for sharing! That is truly funny and a story you'll always remember :). Tina
  10. The dealer initially quoted us just about that same price ($5200). After researching and inquiring about the "goodwill repair" they called Honda and came back with a quote just under $3200. I'd probably also go with the 100,000 mile option too as long as the shop is reputable and has been around a while. With the dealer one we went with, the warranty is good at any Honda dealership. Tina
  11. We just had to replace the transmission in our '03 Pilot last month, so I feel your pain! Are you getting any kind of warranty with either transmission? Yes, this is a known problem with older Pilots also. Have you gotten a quote from the dealer? Some dealers will give a discount (called "goodwill service"). We ended up going that route with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. The service manager said our engine could go for another 150,000 plus miles. Good luck! Tina
  12. You are a true classic beauty!!! The other person doesn't hold a candle to you, I promise! Tina
  13. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Tina
  14. Beautiful daughter and beautiful puppy!!! Tina
  15. I remember reading about someone doing this years ago in Dear Abby. A suggestion was made to put a sign by the front door reading "If you didn't bother to call, don't bother to knock!". I always loved that idea. OP, I hope your plan works! Tina
  16. I bought it today, but haven't tried it yet. It was $2.99 at mine. I'm looking forward to giving it a try :). Tina
  17. I'll have to give this a try. I was there yesterday and happened to see chocolate swirled cheese. Has anyone tried this? I'm not sure about that combo. Tina
  18. I'm very sorry for your loss.
  19. What about selling what you can sell and giving away what you can't? I definitely understand having too many shoes :)! Tina
