  1. Thanks Mergath. We are eating it. I will let you know how it turns out. :tongue_smilie:
  2. hmmm I have ate ground beef in the exact same state, the date is what has me worried.
  3. I was extremely ill and couldn't handle anything else (it always made me more sick) when I went on Superior Nature Cleanse formulas* w/Digest Chi** from healthcareherb. The Digest Chi is so important.
  4. Oh yeah, they actually did tell her categories and such. What she actually got was drastically different than the information that they asked her for. I think it set up false expectations. :D
  5. One time when I had the stomach flu my daughter called my mom crying that I hadn't made her breakfast. I literally could not move. It is a good thing that she knows how to cook now that she has no one to call. :iagree:
  6. Quoting myself because I was editing and the thread took off so quickly: One of my best friends is a single mom who works full time and lost her job last year. Yes, they eat a lot of convenient foods. She has to work a lot when she is sick and she had to ask for help to get her kitchen clean last time she had bronchitis. Our church had brought us a basket with food for Christmas dinner (because we were new) and she cried when I gave it to her. I just wanted to be sure that people know that in contrast to your post, there are truly needy, humble, lovely people out there that need help.

  8. Us too. Unfortunately a house half the size of the one we live in would cause us to pay more, not less, on a house payment.
  9. I didn't want to post our income or percentage on that poll, but I guess we aren't really middle class then. I always thought we were. wow. Very eye-opening. Well, this thread was very helpful for me. I need to see what more I can do to help out my hardworking hubby.
  10. By that definition we are not middle class, but we still receive no help for healthcare from the government (state, county, federal, nada). We would if we had one more child. We are my definition of the middle class. Those who receive government help have more than us and assume that we have more to spare.
  11. Math: Teaching Textbooks workbook. WOW! The lesson is included. This is a worktext. We can complete math for the day without the CD. I am so happy with this. It is like Math Mammoth in a better format, and then you have the CD as well. Math "work text" that teaches and is a workbook...
  12. Hunger in the world is almost always an abuse by those in power. Charities provide food and money and the hungry do not benefit. The question is in the case of hungry children, who has the power?
  13. you might realize what your gift is while reading :) Of one thing I am certain. God works miracles.
  14. :grouphug: Isn't God amazing! As far as anyone not understanding, I just keep going back to 1 Corinthians 12
  15. So I just discovered the catechism due to this thread. Then I was watching Jonathon Fisk and he explains that the catechism is where you need to start if you are witnessing to an unbeliever. Lightbulb! Yeah, that's right! I love it. Starting at 11:25
  16. update: I saw James say this in a post, so I sent him a PM: So yay, got that all cleared up!
