Thank you. I have only a week and half left. I'm attempting to relax, let go of the worry have peace about whatever is meant to be.

This board is a complicated place, I'm finding.

It had not occurred to me at all that anyone would assume I were Christian, though, given the background of my inquiries, I should have forseen that assumption. Sigh.

I don't understand the kerfuffle at all. I really don't. I have never been to conference, and had no idea there was so much going on around them. I was also not aware of the antagonism between the Christian and secular and apparently within the Christian side. I've only been a part of secular, inclusive groups and have never seen anything like this.

In retrospect, my timing appears to be rather poor. I'm going to bow out and build my post count in, hopefully, less incendiary topics for a bit.

Do you think it would be wise to add my Buddhist status to my siggie? It feels a bit odd and inappropriate to me, but perhaps it would help clear up some of the assumptions about me.
