Dd calls Halloween Mopsy Appreciation Day

We wore ghost buster tee shirts that had been packed away since the 90s . Dd, dsil and 4 month old dgs were Alice, the Mad Hatter and the little guy was the white rabbit. We went to an afternoon party and enjoyed being in the north and the last day of 80 degrees up here.

I ve read that only one terminal may be open all night in a large airport. These rules change as needed.

Some airports do not let you stay overnight inside security. I’ve been on the phone finding the last hotel room in town for one of mine.

I would leave as early as possible and have a two hour plus layover.

Dallas has good signage and airport staff and people generally are very friendly compared to some cities. My concern would be a stop over anywhere. I would drive further or take a different airline. Planes just aren’t on time in any way you can count on. If a connection is missed or flight canceled and not booked until the next day she will need to advocate for herself and be able to manage a taxi or other transport to a hotel and back.

We each did our own little IKEA house last year when the adult children visited. We were going to do a large one but it never happened.

Thinking of all of you in Maine. Words aren’t adequate.

We have all driven in bad conditions when we were young and should have stayed put. And we all know someone who ended up in a ditch or crashed into a tree or have seen a line of many cars that have slid off the road and worse due to ice and snow. Weather will win against the if i try hard it will be fine mentality. I wish them a good, safe and interesting trip across country.
