  1. How cool that you found a unique name! One of my son's was listed as 826th on the list. I was surprised it even made the list as it is very unusual.
  2. I don't know a single Paisley, but I like the name. I didn't realize it was as popular as it is. I think I could pull off Paisley, but my mom never would have picked it. LOL. Not a fan of most of my other listed names or they just don't suit me.
  3. I would be Paisley. I think it is cute, actually. :)
  4. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo with veggies.
  5. Thanks for posting this! I am trying to decide between Bravewriter products. :)
  6. Can you go to see a game in your area of either a professional or college level? Sometimes being there and watching a game of a higher level live can be inspiring and increase the level of passion and commitment in a young player. Are there ways for her to volunteer to help on higher level teams in your area? Like an equipment manager, ball boy/girl, help with scoreboard, or other jobs that kids sometimes get the opportunity to do? Maybe for a local college or high school team? It sounds like good news on the reason for the placement. Sometimes holding the kid back just a bit gives them a chance to really blossom and become a leader. It helped with one of our sons. Best wishes for a wonderful summer season!
  7. Mary Kay's CC cream is a light coverage option. Goes on more like a tinted moisturizer, but didn't feel greasy. I think it is $20.
  8. I think black stockings or nice trouser socks.
  9. Yes, I have those times too. (And those Forest Schools do sound fascinating.)
  10. I thought that I read that some people had used History Odyssey Level 2 successfully for high school. Then again, I have been reading and worrying so much that maybe I am confused by this point. :P Anyway, we will be studying early modern next year and I am wondering if History Odyssey might be a good fit. I believe that some people mentioned adding more literature for a high school student. If we are also planning to use Literary Lessons from the LOTR, would I need more literature choices? Suggestions? Would anything else need to be added for this to be considered a high school level class? Has anyone combined a younger student with a high school student in this program? How? Thanks for any help you can provide. :)
  11. All of your pies sound delicious! Definitely a favorite holiday here too. We are having pizza pie and whoopie pies. :)
  12. I am reading it now and loving it so far. I plan to read it a second time at a slower pace and take notes.
  13. It sounds like you did the right thing. ((hugs)) It is not easy though. I hope everything will turn out better than you hope.
  14. It can definitely be broken or fractured without swelling. Sorry. I am sorry you are hurting and hope it heals quickly.
  15. I am so very sorry. :( She sounds like an amazing person who will be missed by many. I will keep her, her family and your whole community in my prayers.
