  1. My dd is finishing her first year of vet school. She is loving vet school. She has always wanted to be a vet and she worked as a vet assistant for two years before she started vet school, so she knows what she is getting in to. In her experience, working with pet owners for the above-mentioned reasons, especially those mentioned by @Pawz4me is the most stressful part of the job. Her vet hospital is corporate owned, and she didn't like many of their business practices, but owning your own vet clinic comes with its own set of financial stresses.

Agree. I also wish people would understand they can’t just take a single RAT when they’re sick and when they get a negative declare it’s not Covid. Most people currently are going to get a negative before they get a positive. I’ve had to tell people gently the negative means they don’t know yet if they have Covid (and unfortunately they did indeed get positive RATs a couple days later).

And this is why asking for a negative test prior to an event doesn't work

Who needs to see your social security card?

I've occasionally been asked for it, but I've also had employers who just wanted the number not to see the card.

My dd needed her ss card, passport, or birth certificate when starting a new job.

There are just things I prefer with white flour 😬. I try to do at least 1/3 fresh ground though still.    Ive had a wheat grinder for 20+ years and still don't love whole wheat biscuits and things like that.

Are you using red wheat berries? I think the white wheat berries make flour that has a lighter texture/taste. I get my wheat berries from Azure (I'm a drop coordinator in my area). I make much less bread than I used to, but I have switched to using spelt. I know people who only use Einkhorn.

I wonder how different things could have been if airborne transmission had been acknowledged much earlier and we used effective masking and air filtration. Maybe we could have avoided the worst.

But they said the results were irrespective of infection?

  6. After my older ds got his braces off, the orthodontist recommended we have his wisdom teeth removed, so we did. After my younger ds got his braces off (same orthodontist, 10 years later), the orthodontist said they no longer automatically recommend getting the wisdom teeth removed.

When I was in my 20's, I was sent for a consult to have my wisdom teeth removed because my dh was going to be stationed overseas. The dentist said he wouldn't touch my wisdom teeth because I had a nerve running right through there. However, when I was in my 40's, all of my wisdom teeth erupted (not at the same time). My dentist said that as long as I brushed them well, they could stay in my mouth, lol.
