His "family" that he's trying to defend, don't care about his son, or family. So, that's a pretty one-way dynamic to which he is blind. Is he in denial about his family because he's just as twisted? or he has fear of admitting their rejection?

Start forwarding things back to her, her daughter, and maybe even that dad, grandma, etc. - with the message, your mom thought this was a good idea, thought you'd be interested (the cousin) is actually the age to be taking advantage of those programs. eta: yeah, I see what's going on, and I'm so sorry your husband is supporting his sister, and NOT his own child and wife. Is the SIL jealous of your son?

There is variation in products. Quality of produce is usually good, but I've encountered questionable even here. (I could buy produce from Costco A, but not B. And Costco C would carry things the others don't. ) 2ds always wants me to go to a specific one because they have an actual sushi chef on site. Other costco's get it shipped in. Maybe. The original location has a car wash.. I wish they'd add one closer. Managers have some discretion on nonadvertised sale prices too. Occasionally you can get fabulous deals.

a 9x13 is considered 1/4 of a sheet cake. Costco sheet cakes are 12 x 18, or 1/2 a sheet cake. Ccostco offers white or chocolate cake, with a choice of vanilla custard or chocolate filling. white or chocolate frosting - and a number of designs to choose from. You can add writing/etc of your choice. (eg. Happy birthday ___, congratulations, etc.) in the fall, they are known for their 10" pumpkin pies, pecan pies, and apple pies. huge, for a good price (we still make our own) They make a chicken pot pie. specialty cakes - e.g. carrot cake, tuxedo cake, tres leche, tiramasu, - croissants are a staple, rolls, baguettes. etc.

I saw lyft gives me the option for paypal. haven't started setting up an uber account.

where are you seeing that online? - that's the price I saw $450 for $500. I was walking past, don't fly southwest so didn't stop to look closer. I looked up gift cards online and didn't see any airline cards of any kind. (sad face) . . . not even the better restuarant cards we use (though there was a 4pk of cold stone cards. or krispy kreme cards) OP re: gift cards - there are a lot even online, common restaurants/pizza/subs, and movie theater chains. gift cards at a discount from face value.

this is another thing to check out online. they have professional dress shirts, sometimes in the warehouse but they are online. dress socks outdoor sports, ski stuff (though I wasn't impressed with their ski gloves) but thin gloves to keep your hands warm while walking/bikiing in the cold were good.

I wouldn't know much to put on a gift card? where do you buy them? it's a 45 minute trip.

Oh - do you need to tip the driver? what percentage? any other info I should know? does it make much of a difference for the type of car you input? It's just me, 25" checked bag, 16" under seater (crossing my fingers it works better than my backpack), and a purse.

Terminal E. (same terminal, same gate, every. single. time. I don't fly American.) Once you go through those doors to baggage claim . . . there's nothing else inside.

Car rentals are a great deal - I still will look at other sites, and almost always end up back at costco. glasses work out to be a lot less than other places. (my eye dr is elsewhere. my eyes are too complicated.) two dozen roses for $16 . . and they're nice roses. lots of bouquets. there are a lot of seasonal items. e.g. Christmas stuff starts showing up in Aug/sep/oct - trees, live wreaths, amaryllis, foods, gift baskets, toys exercise equipment and storage items in January garden stuff in jan/feb/march - bedding plants, bulbs, trees, shrubs, pots, dirt, tools, sheds, outdoor garden/living march - may. laundry detergent/softener, dishwashing detergent, shampoo/conditioner, there are "roadshows" that are promotional items that are only there for maybe a week every six months or longer. you can find the schedule for your costco online. photos have gone online, no longer in the warehouse. get them printed, whatever you want. there are also business centers that have more specialty items. pet food/toys. RX prices are better than average. There are location specific items. (e.g. airline gift cards. when 2dd lived in Sunnyvale, she was about to get a gift card for my preferred airline that gave me $50 off aka: free to deposit in my airline wallet to apply to ticket purchases. we'd get them when planning on buying tickets so we knew we'd use them. Last time I was at costco, I saw my area is getting Southwest airline gift cards in. there are a lot of other travel things too. and a lot of DISCOUNT "Gift cards" that will give you a discount on your item. gas is a lot cheaper, and is high quality. they have tires, large appliances, small appliances, luggage They had knockoff ugg sheepskin boots - (a few years ago they were only available online here. I assume because it's not cold enough.) very sturdy and I get quite a few years out of them (just buy a new sheepskin insole). some foods we get, trail mix, greek yogurt, eggs, frozen fruit, milk, our area gets our preferred brand of eggnog in in oct through christmas, brie, other cheeses, baked goods - their sheet cakes are a great deal, and they're good. one save thing people are doing is a "small" bakery/fancy wedding cake, and then costco sheet cakes. toothpaste, toilet paper, my coconut water, bottled water, etc. etc. etc. Their ice cream bars are a great deal too. even for costcos that are close together, stock can vary (we have three within 20 minutes, and another two/three? within 30 - 40 minutes. dh and I each have our favorites.) you have a membership, take a look online - there's a lot more online than in the warehouse. for items that are both online AND in the warehouse, prices can vary. Clothes are usually good deals. we've been members since shortly after it opened so I've seen a lot of things come and go over the years. for a year, we lived elsewhere and we were about an hour away - and we made the trek almost every week. we have the executive membership visa (the yearly rebate more than pays for the membership.) when 2dd got married, she told dsil she was getting a membership. He thought it was unnecessary . . . guess who spends more . . . . snicker.

please be gentle. I'm consider Uber/lyft or a shuttle or something. I've never used one before, if I wasn't being picked up, I was renting a car. (and considering what car rentals are going for because the eclipse is coming . . . uh, no.) Or a hotel shuttle. I need instructions. I'm flying into DFW. I need step by step instructions. think of explaining things to your elderly mother . . . if my flight lands on time at 2:40 (Central time), that would be maybe 3:15-3:30 for a pick-up. (given walking time, and waiting for luggage.) dd said she could pick me up - but she's working that night and it would probably be better she not spend 90 minutes to the airport and back.

And if it's *children*, you'd think they don't need MEN's . . . .

I'll sometimes find "suites" (like a MIL suite) on B&B sites. But those are usually only a couple, rarely room for more. sometimes there is. we once rented an entire finished walk-out basement, multiple bedrooms, kitchenette, with hot tub access - and *breakfast included!* - on a B&B site. There were six? seven of us.. In Washington, some of the state parks have cabin/cottage rentals. They're on a state gov park website.
