    my dd is almost 14 and she does not have a cell phone although she will get one this summer so she can call us from church to pick her up from things she will be doing there. she does not do cell phones or the phone at all. she is happy with that. she sees her friends at church or when we are out and that is fine with her.

    sit there and wait for people to do that. I saw a woman do that recklessly yestereday morning and there was not a cop around and she should had been nailed because she nearly took two cars out making that switch in the lanes.:glare:

    I was 18 years and years ago. My sister will not touch a whole chicken, much less cut it up.

    have friends or find them. No way will either of us dh or me let her get on those sites. She has friends on another homeschool site she visits with. she is almost 14

    we have been using bju all the time and will continue with it for algebra.

    gr 3 and 4 sotw 3 and 4 for 5th and 6th then we went to bju for history

    would not have it any other way. I know where my dd is and that she is not being bullied at school. We have enjoyed this journey and have 5 more years to go.

    really pricey with the money, and it goes back into the economy. Most people will save it or pay bllls , medical. We will not be buying stuff with it. It goes in the savings account for emergencies.:D

    We will all be paying for it in the end, after all it is our money,. Taxes will more than likely go up with the next President. Yes, nothing is free, there will eventually be a catch somewhere down the line I am sure.:eek:

    :) We have lots of tuna casseroles or just tuna fish sandwiches, I buy Jennie O ground frozen turkey meat is 1.50 for a one lb roll and make casseroles , turkey burgers, chili, hambuger helper with it. I buy one on package of Teryaki chicken already cooked. Even the stuff that people bought to help till the next payday is not cheap, peanut butter, bread, lunch meat, etc.;)

    we can print it off the computer if we feel we need to. BA sends me an online statement I print out.

    I put all like subjects together, then see if I can use any of them in upcoming years, like history, or grammar, or writing, then the ones I cannot I sell or take to half price books and resale there. 'Linda:p
