  1. Hello, My children(ages 5 and 4) are fluent in three languages; English, Arabic and my native language. They know the English and Arabic alphabets and don't mix the two up. Please i need advice on the best way to teach them in both languages. Is it best to do different languages on alternate days like Monday:English, Tuesday:Arabic, Wednesday: English? Or perhaps alternate weeks? I'm afraid if we prioritize one language they may lose the other.
  2. Hello! I am about to purchase the OPGTR and i want to get either The Modern Curriculum Press Phonics Practice Readers or The Bob Books. Which of the two readers will i find more beneficial to use along with the book?
  3. Hello :001_smile:. Please help me choose from the website what products to get my 3.9 year old daughter who is eager to start writing.
  4. Hello! How and where do you get your home-schooling resources and supplies? Especially books.
  5. Chrissy I do like Zaner-Bloser, it was my first choice but when i looked at their web-site i couldn't find the Continuous stroke Alphabet Series. They seem to have something else now. Can you recommend a substitute for the Continuous-stroke Alphabet series?
  6. Walaikumusalaam Osmosis mom! Hello Jennifer, Judomom and Researcher! Thanx for your replies. I've been browsing the forums and i'm so glad i found this website! Dd's begging me to teach her cursive handwriting and is always scribbling and asking why it's not coming out like mine. Does the HWT provide an easy transition to cursive handwriting? A kiss for my namesake Osmosis mom! Lovely pic Researcher!
  7. Hello everyone! :001_smile: I'm Jumaanah. I'm home-edding my daughter(age 3) and son(age 2) and plan to do that with my new baby on the way. I've read lots on homeschooling but when i read the WTM i felt i had come home. I agree with all that i've read so far and i'm glad i came across it early enough as we haven't gone too far. It has also motivated me to fill all the "holes" in my education so planning on getting Susan's 'The Well-Educated Mind'. I'm about to buy my resources (list compiled from the WTM's resources list)and i would appreciate any advice and tips from you all. Especially in handwriting as i still don't know whether to go for Zaner-Bloser or Handwriting without tears.
