  1. I took a screenshot of the coupon page (using prntscreen, but there are other ways as well). Then I emailed info@t-tapp.com with my kindle order # and gave the registration info from the coupon.
  2. I learned of T-Tapp from the post here as well and have been trying the demos available on the site for a few days. It worked wonders for my back and when I didn't do it for 2 days I really noticed. I bought her book on Kindle and registered it for the coupon and will be buying some dvds tomorrow morning. I'd love an accountability partner as well! I registered for the T-Tapp forums (wow! sooo much to read and lots of great starter info!). And I can't wait to do a "challenge"! :hurray:
  3. Oh I'm so happy to hear I'm not the only one!! But not happy that I can't shake it. I too go through periods where I don't drink the dreaded pepsi and then eventually decide to "treat" myself and ALWAYS feel guilty about it afterward. I know that I have really cut back and have longer periods of abstaining, but really want to kick it once and for all. The thing that has been helping for me recently is just substitution. I dedcided to treat myself to some fancy loose leaf tea (I know I know I still put a bit of splenda so it's not perfect but it's a start) and I am actually enjoying the ritual of the tea. I also started to splurge on special health shakes and use that as a treat instead. I also do a lot of self talk. "You have to drink 2 cups of water before the tea" "No pepsi right now, I don't want teeth problems, this gut, etc". It's not a perfect plan (tries to hide the pepsi that's in the fridge ), but I have drastically cut back and don't desire it to the same degree anymore, plus don't have the icky health things going on anymore. And feel free to use me as a sponsor!! Couldn't hurt to have a buddy talk me down from the pepsi ledge! :w00t:
  4. I've had many of the same problems getting in a good exercise. Couple days ago I started with Leslie's walk club and have been having fun incorporating it with my kiddo. I'm terribly out of shape (ok never really active), and the 2-3 miles have been a great start for me. I've also done the stroller thing (had to get a heavy duty stroller/bike trailer as my son is bigger), but sometimes it is difficult to do the outside thing. I've also had to "schedule" workout time with hubby, but it doesn't always work either because I can't focus if I hear the lil guy having tantrums (of course mama knows how to fix it faster than dad :D), and sometimes time that is good for him is not time I feel like working out. Thanks for this Katie! I had never heard of this and after trying several of her exercises on the site I'm gonna give it a try. :001_smile: Good luck hope you find what works for you! :grouphug:
  5. There is also Google Docs or you could also save to a usb flashdrive.
  6. I don't know anything about knitting, but I'm teaching myself sewing as well. YouTube has videos for anything imaginable! I found some great ones on there for hemming jeans (I'm a real beginner! :blushing: ). My favorite sewing forum: http://sewingmamas.com/b/ My fav how to series: http://esewingworkshop.com/ she has either a membership plan or dvds.
  7. :iagree: Try one of these...been too lazy to make them yet this month but I love the ones Albertson's (local grocery store_ makes! http://www.celiac.com/articles/21679/1/Pumpkin-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies-Gluten-Free/Page1.html http://www.joythebaker.com/blog/2008/04/super-soft-pumpkin-chocolate-chip-cookies/ http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pumpkin-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies-III/Detail.aspx I'm not really a cookie person....but these are my seasonal weakness!! Hope to see lots of yummy pumpkin ideas!
  8. My kiddo had a hard time with just melatonin and once I switched him to Schiff Sweet Slumber he sleeps much better....I've finally gotten more than 3 hrs of sleep for the last 3 yrs!! Sweet slumber has melatonin (which is fine for asd kiddos to use daily as approved by your provider) and also theanine and gaba. When he was on melatonin alone, he would wake up 2-3 times a night (if I could get him to sleep at all) or would have night terrors.
  9. My lil guy has autism and is non-verbal (well was until a couple weeks ago...yay!!). I have tried multiple combinations with him over the last 3 yrs. We have used Nordic Naturals 3-6-9 (fish oil) with some minimal gain, but I noticed a HUGE jump in skills once we added Wholemega (fish oil) and CoQ 10. I came across this combo after his DAN! dr wanted to add in CoQ10 and another parent had noticed huge gains with this combo. The following day after taking the Wholemega he used words he hasn't used for 3 yrs and he has added a new word everyday. Honestly I started him on the Coq10(ubiquinol form) and Wholemega on the same day so not sure if it is from the Wholemega or CoQ10 but since he needs both anyway, I'm keeping him on this combo. The parents who originally noticed this combo stated they felt it had a synergistic effect, perhaps because the fish oils came from 2 different sources (salmon in Wholemega and NN: anchovies and sardines). They also felt that NN alone or Wholemega alone had not as much impact as the two together.
