  1. Wouldn't the sil repay the $130 I hear what you are saying, but you wouldn't be paying the interest if she pays you right back
  2. Hugs My mil is havimg to do this very shortly.. She needs to move to a higher care facility. She has had it all explained to her by the doctor and family, but she has twisted it all around and is telling all her family confusing falsehoods, which some family members are taki ng as facts and it is causing all kinds of uproar . Glad I live on the other side of the world
  3. be glad you have rubbish trucks. I live too remote to have rubbish pick ups. We have built a secure cage to store the rubbish until we get enough to make the tip run
  4. thanks for the tip. will keep it in mind I don't really eat much processed food really.
  5. for the first 6 weeks I really felt very low on energy and had a bad headache, but now I feel absolutely fabulous. I think it might take me a little bit to work out how many kilojoules I need to eat to keep at this weight.
  6. Seems very likely it will get worse here in Australia https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-14/fuel-price-diesel-regional-qld-agriculture-transport-consumers/100898648
  7. I did it. I cannot believe it. I reached my weight goal, just under 62 kg. I lost 10 kg. Thank you everyone for your inspiration. I don’t post on here every day, but just knowing that others were trying to eat healthy too was enough encouragement to keep going
  8. I am not sure but think I will be Granny. Grandma has already been taken DH will be Opa

  10. My daughter had her baby early this morning. A boy 7lb 9 oz She named him Leo
  11. went shopping today no coconut cream or coconut milk available anywhere ( I use if for curry) What I found shocking was the price of veggies. I had a look so I could see the prices as we grow our own. Broccoli was $9g, and Cauliflower was $9 a head Celery was just under $6 head, potatoes were $5 for 2 kg. I didn't look any further, I was shocked by the cauliflower. The just about doubling of veggie prices will be the floods, I don't think the increase in fuel has been factored in yet.
  12. Price has jumped close to 30 cents per litre from 3 days ago. Unleaded $2, 85 $2.20, 98 $2.30 diesel $2.30
  13. I have seen "loving friends of" Careres of I am called legal guardian of my twins. That is the legal term here for permanent care foster kids

  15. I had something like that when I visited my in-laws house. I was asked to get something from “ the blue thing” in the kitchen . I searched and searched, but couldn’t find any blue cupboard or anything. I asked my bil wife if she knew, no she couldn’t find a blue cupboard either. Eventually I said to my mil I cannot find the blue thing. Turns out it was a kitchen dresser that previously was blue but had been painted 20 years ago to white.
  16. All out war between all NATO Countries and Russia. No nuclear bomb in Southern Hemisphere. It was pretty bad for the northern hemisphere 😢
  17. From all the YouTubing I did and the modelling, Seems like in my location we would survive the actual nuclear part but die in the expected 4 year winter. Though there is conflicting information if it would be a 1 year winter or 4 year winter.
  18. Dh said check your car manual first. He said it should state in it if you can use 95
