  1. I don't have one. I line dry. Most Australians line dry. And if they have a dryer they only use it to "finish off drying" in an extremely wet period in winter. They are very expensive to run. Electricity is very expensive here. One of my ds has one. It isn't vented anywhere, the warm air just goes into the laundry I guess. He would only use it once a week max My mum has one. She would only use it maybe 10 times a year . It doesn't have vents either. None of my friends have one that I am aware of. The house we rent out doesn't even have room for a dryer in the combination laundry/bathroom
  2. I have never seen a clothes dryer ducted to outside.
  3. Why would a landlord be responsible for a washing machine? Is that common there? I am a landlord and have never heard of it before. Is it a USA specific thing ?or a regional thing? Here the only appliance provided by a landlord is a stove. And they are hardwired into the house. They have to be inspected every year and a safety certificate supplied by a licensed contractor. The Tennent brings their own fridges and washing machine etc. if a tennent left a washing machine then the landlord could use some of the Tennant's bond money to get it disposed of before renting out the house again.
  4. There have been members of Israel parliament recoded as saying the goal is to rid Gaza of Palestinians completely
  5. By their actions Israel is making sure that more and more children grow up traumatized and with a deep hatred.
  6. I will try that, thanks..I have swallow deposits. Didn't have any idea how to tackle it.
  7. I swept the verandah. It took most of the day as I had to rest up inbetween sweeping small sections. I can't believe how excited I am about doing this. It has been bugging me for weeks, Before my illness I swept it in about 5 minutes flat.
  8. We use parsnip..we grow them, but I have never mashed them. They are fairly sweet. I put parsnip in stews with lentils instead of potatoes. I roast them as well.

  13. I would guess because of the microplastic pollution
  14. My neighbour have me a Gamin Venu SQ specifically to track my heart. She looked into it all while I was in hospital. Apparently it is pretty accurate. I know that it corresponds with the oximeter for pulse readings not only does it record my pulse, it sends me alerts on abnormal heart activity and sends nice graphs of my heart rate throughout the dsy to my phone Drawback I have found. It sends me silly messages. Like when I have a tachycardia episode it says that I am exercising too much and it needs to recover from the vigorous exercise. I don't need fancy sports features
  15. Faith-manor my work looks way better from a distance. I am no quilter, just persistent
  16. Finally finished this huge quilt. I have been working on it for over 2years
  17. This week Empty soot collection tray and ash tray on combustion stove Wash shower curtain Get three quilt tops basted to wadding and backing I am not meant to do much and can't physically do much. Those will be my big challenges for the week
  18. I am on low dose beta blocker and another heart medication that is not a beta blocker. It is to try keep my pulse in the 80s. My heart rate is all over the place, either dropping to the low 50s or rising rapidly over 110+ with the slightest exertion . Multiple times a day. I naturally have very low blood pressure. When my pulse drops to anything below 64 I feel absolutely awful , very fatigued, chest pain , headache, cold. Symptoms disappear as soon as pulse is up over 70.if my pulse goes over 110 I feel breathless, have chest pain, tightness across chest. If it goes over 120 my vision blures, am panting , and I feel so yuck that I lay down on the floor wherever I am. I am not doing any exercise that would rase heart rate, still using a walker am completely house bound.
