Some of my adult sons do resin with wood. They do it outside it needs lots of ventilation. They don't do it here, but I think it has to cure at specific tempretures, or that coukd be epoxy. They do both

one tip for trying to keep tomatoes going over winter in a polytunnel. I have found that they need to set the fruit before the end of Autumn. then the tomatoes will slowly grow over the winter. I haven't had great success, but gardening is all about experimenting and learning. Capsicums are great in a polytunnel. sometimes they lose their leaves, but reshoot in the spring and fruit way earlier than ones planted outside. I have watch lots of Charlies Dowding . His winters are a lot colder than what I have and he gets way less daylength in winter, he makes a compost heap right in his greenhouse to help with seed germination

hugs I didn't do the chicken pox vax for my older kids. they were very ill. 2 of them had pox under their eyelids all of them had internal pox as well, on their tongue , down their throat etc. 😞

Sorry if I upset you. I have never called someone black. Nor do I know anyone who does. Except some now decease inlaws in Canada. In my area of Australia Aboriginals are called Aboriginals, Sudanese are called Sudanese, Italians are called Italians, Chinese are called of Chinese descent. To call someone the colour of their skin is frowned at. It would be like calling Chinese yellow skins or slant eyes. The only time I could imagine calli g someone the colour of their skin would be if there was a police report for a wanted dangerous person and they were giving a description.

Why call them anything.? Isn't calling people anything with their appearance racial profiling?

I think what will end up happen g it it will speed up distruction if any traditional culture. Will they also try stopping people learning traditional hanguages as they are not from that culture? I mean like a school teaching an indiginous language to non indigenous people. It would be the exact oppisete of what use to happen by not letting indigenous people speek their own language, but gave the same result,... Destruction of any culture different from the conquerors

autumn planting here as well I am just starting to put the brassicas in. the tomatoes, corn and melons are just about finished. I have been successful in providing all our vegetable needs for exactly 12 months- with never a gap. What I have done is start 8 seeds of whatever I am going to grow , then when those seeds are ready to plant out, I start 8 more seeds. it has worked really really well

Well my mother didn't have a midwife, she had some lady who had assisted a midwife once. nor did she cover the couch with anything. Dad put the afterbirth in a casserole dish and told us kids that it was going to be fore dinner 😞 I had the joy of scrubbing the couch, and the floor and washing all the stuff. I was 10 .

I live rural Vic, we don't have OB, rather a GP with some extra training and midwives in the rural hospital. I think the closest OB is about 300 km away. There are no midwives doing home births in my area, and believe me, cleaning up my mother's home birth has given me enough trauma to make sure I never had a home birth.

Quite possibly it is just that home-birth midwifes cannot get insurance so they don’t really exist here in Australia. I know several women who have had unassisted home births. One of them doesn’t believe in modern medicine and thinks as long as she is praying she will be fine. Another 2 that have a fanatical religious dh that told her the wife she had to have home births otherwise she would not be showing faith ????? my mother had a partially assisted home births I was 10 (a person who had assisted a midwife once before). she gave me the job of cleaning up the mess afterwards. What a huge mess. I never sat on the couch ever again. It was so so disgusting. if it wasn’t for having my babies in hospital I wouldnot be alive, neither would 2 of my children

Borders are closed so people cannot go on holidays so are buying property Foolishly the government allowed people to pull their supper so they are using the money to buy property. In my area a house is listed for a Max of 30 hours before being sold. There is not a rental house available anywhere. Prices are up over 17%

I just told my teen time to vaccume your room. They would go off and vaccume, they would tidy up as they did. Mind you, I had mostly boys, they had minimal clothes, 4 pairs shorts, 4 short sleeve tops, 2 pants, 4 long sleeve tops,. If they didn't put clothes in the wash I didn't wash them. Worked fine.
