  1. Glad you had such a secure childhood that you could have youthful optimism not all of us were so fortunate

  3. Have to say I have a very different understanding of low numbers than the premier of NSW.
  4. A torch is the same as a flashlight. It is very useful, has rechargeable battery. Everyone in the household has a torch by their bed. For all the children it was given to them when they started being toilet trained.
  5. No trash in my room to need a rubbish bin , my bedroom has a bed and lots of plants.
  6. My glasses case, a crystal dish and a torch. I put all my jewellery that I wear every day into the dish when going to bed, I put my glasses in the case as I hop into bed. I use the torch when I need to get up at night.
  7. Line drying helps tremendously. the sun is marvellous

  9. Hugs I hear you on the driving. I fall asleep while driving. My max distance I can do with huge effort and to not fall asleep is2 hours in one direction. I have to do to take twins to paediatrician , and I can only do that if I drink enough water that I have a full bladder. I cannot fall asleep when busting, but it makes for uncomfortable driving. I only do it twice a year and get stressed out at just the thought. Any further than that I take public transport.
  10. Get a professional beekeeper. some have a machine like a giant vacuum that can suck them all out without having to open up the wall
  11. If a person has been exposed to Covid, then they are in isolation and not able to go get food. not to leave the house at all for 14 days. However, They are called almost daily to make sure they are OK and food can be arranged to be delivered. The Army and many voluntary organizations are helping with the food distribution . there is also the Covid hotline that can be rung if people need assistance
  12. a dunny is an outhouse. a toilet in a little room behind the house. usually a drop toilet, over a deep pit. until very recently lots of houses had them in Australia, certainly in my living memory. they are still found in remote areas
  13. Saw on the news that just about all of Europe has stopped Astra Zeneca use because of blood clots
  14. probably because they want to go on a holiday overseas and want the border opened so they can come back

  16. I don’t mind as long as you are all picturing me as drop dead gorgeous, instead of the grey headed middle age woman I am
  17. My twins psychologist , who works only with children under 18, said that she noticed that quite a lot of disengaged at school kids flourished with the online learning. Something that I am sure would not surprise homeschooling parents at all
