  1. This is Jennifer (aka Yogger LeFossa's mouthpiece) from A Pirate's Guide t' th' grammar of Story.

Wondering if your son finished the book, and what you thought of it?

    Thanks! Jennifer

  2. Hi there - I just discovered a feed on my book, A Pirate's Guide t' th' Grammar of Story - and I'd love to hear what you thought of it!

  3. Thanks ladies - that is just the help I needed. I think we'll start in 3 and move quickly (if possible) and hopefully get to 4 mid year, assuming that we don't hit any grammar snags (with one it should be a breeze, with the other...). Blessings!
  4. Hi there - I'm new here, and hope that I'm not aimlessly asking a question that has already been covered (I searched for awhile and didn't find this question, but there is a lot more I could have searched through!). I am a Charlotte Mason style homeschooler that uses Story of the World as our history spine. Next year I'll have a 4th and 5th grader, and it's time we start doing some grammar. We are already working with IEW for composition. My question is how to determine what level of First Language Lessons to begin with my two children. Level 1 seems too simplistic, but I don't want to skip too far ahead and find out we've missed the introduction to too many concepts. Any advice would be appreciated! Blessings, Jennifer in so cal mum to 3 wonderfuls
