  2. looking at our bills a bit closer and I've found that a big expense is always food/groceries. Just curious how everyone else is faring in this part of their budget. fairymommy, who thankfully loves beans and rice nearly every day!!!

  7. Dc must see the words of a foreign language to learn it. What curriculum do you suggest? Rosetta Stone and Learnables seem to be purely for auditory learners.:confused: Help! and thanks! fairymommy

  10. For a child that picks up math concepts quickly, could a daily lesson be more around 30-45 minutes? Thank you for any info/advice! We are going to try Math 6 or 7 this summer....never tried this curriculum before but dd has been consistently strong in math. fairymommy

  12. a bit ahead of their class and STAY ahead because in middle school there are about 35 children in each class!!!!!!!!!! I doubt the teacher can help each child individually, if they needed it.:glare: So we afterschoolers want to start "summer schooling" with science. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I need to focus on biology and chemistry.
