Yes! I loved mine. It was a Christmas present.

I remember these, too.

It’s 1.5 hours roughly. If xh met me halfway I’d still drive 1.5 hours, though (home to midway point to get kids; back to home). So at least it’s significantly closer than the 4hr distance.
I had not considered getting an MLS but who knows, might consider one day. This job will pay more than my last but the rent might offset any increase in earnings. I’m seeking a 2 bedroom.
If you do consider pursuing a library degree, check to see if they offer any tuition reimbursement to help with the costs. State library associations and ALA offer scholarships too.

Yup, combos now exist: https://www.irobot.com/en_US/roomba-combo-i5plus-robot-vacuum-and-mop/I557020.html
OP, I have never used one, so I can't comment on which one you should get. It looks like there's a variety of brands on Amazon.

Are there any brands that have a failed an expiration date extension? So far, all of ours are still good under the extensions, despite the dates on the boxes showing expired.
I don't have an answer, but some of my iHealth tests were past their extension dates when I checked the codes. However, I didn't realized that until after I used them. I recently got some new ones that confirmed the negatives I had with the old tests.

Funny to see this comeback around. My last batch of lid replacements have so far been ok.
Thanks @Farrar for the link! I'll have to keep that in mind when I need new ones.

I never really thought about it nor do I recall being "taught". I recall doing facing more when I was younger. These days it just seems to depend on the venue and how much room an aisle may have.

Let's just say I wish fidget spinners and similar items were a thing when I was a kid. 😆

Sometimes I miss walking to work. I had a 2 mile walk and would change into my work clothes when I got it. I was able to change and get ready in the ladies restroom.
The biggest factor for me would be what time of day am I going in? If its at the hottest point, then I'd rather bike ride or find another alternative.

Oh man... I see this just as the radio plays "The Best". 😢 What a talent. She'll be missed.

I use this recipe which calls for 1 to 1: https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-brown-rice/
If you scroll past the recipe, she lists some different time lengths that she tried. I find the letting it sit for 20 minutes before release comes out the way we like it.

I hadn’t heard the term until I just opened that Twitter thread with my thirteen year old hanging over my shoulder. He saw the term pureblood and figured out what it meant, then he immediately said “DOES NO ONE READ HARRY POTTER ANYMORE??” I told him those were the types of people who probably fought for banning the series because magic.
He’s stalking around the living room ranting about how the world would be a better place if more people read Harry Potter and took the lessons to heart.

I still have some cute Disney cloth face masks that I purchased back near the start of the pandemic. We stopped using them when newer versions/ better fitting styles and types came along . I just discovered a bag that I had put away. These are the kind that have Marvel logos and other cute Disney designs on them. They aren't useful now as masks and I'm not sure what to do with them. I'm not a quilter. Any ideas? I don't just want to toss them.
For point of reference, they are like these:

Guess I got back into things after my unintended week off a bit hard with my Tuesday MuTu workout since my muscles were really sore yesterday. (Me and lunges just don't seem to mix. 😣) So I wound up sleeping through my exercise time before work this morning and figured that's what my body needed more. Today is looking like walks during my work breaks and maybe some yoga for sore muscles. Tomorrow will be back to c2 5k.

I got hit with a head cold last week. All I was mostly able to do was get my walking in. When I felt a little better I did some weights. I got a short run in and some yoga on Friday. But my schedule is all out of whack. It's going to rain for the next 2 days, so it looks like MuTu and yoga will be as much as I can get in with my walking. Hopeful that by next week I'll be getting back to regular c2 5k. It's always hard for me to get back into running after a week of not doing it.

February was mostly a loss for me. Being so overextended with college courses drained a lot from my muscle gains. And my housekeeping!
I did get some stretching/yoga/mobility stuff in here and there, so at least it’s not nothing.
Dh decided to start hitting the weights the other day, so I squeezed in a short lower body workout yesterday before my last finals. It’s technically not a competition, but I have to work 10x as hard as this guy. He can do 1 bicep curl and gain 5lbs of muscle. 😠 Not fair.
The scale has continued to move down, but I figure that’s mostly the lost muscle. Sigh.
I’m aiming to get back toward a manageable schedule for the second half of the semester.
👏👏👏 I am in the same boat with you.

This happened last week. 🙂 In my now two months of daily exercising, I've lost a whole 1 lb. 🙄 But I've also lost about 1" off the waist, so it's a start. The ever slowing metabolism as we age is so annoying. I was looking back at my FitBit stats of the last few years -- I wish I had stayed more consistent so I could have been maintaining now instead of just about starting over again.
Just last week I changed up my weekly routine and this week will be my first full week of doing it. I'm doing C2 5k three days a week with a couple of dumbbell/ strength exercises. On the alternating 3 days, I've decided to go back to MuTu workouts. Every day is walking and a short bit of yoga stretching. Sundays I only walk and do some yoga. So far it seems doable. We'll see how March goes. I will probably changed things up again in 6 weeks or so since I tend to get bored with the same repetition. 😜
@Laura Corin I always love seeing your nature pictures!
@Lady Florida. Have fun in Greece! And thanks for the information about ibuprofen and acetaminophen. I never knew that and it might help some of dh's aches and pains.

Thank-you @Ali in OR for starting the new thread.
Today - brisk errands on foot. Then I spent the whole afternoon in the attic of the Victorian building where I work sorting and sending for shredding old student records. It was surprisingly physical work, so I'm feeling well exercised. I hope to do the same tomorrow - I only got to about a third of the records.
March - just carrying on. Getting back to weights and stretches plus yoga, as well as walks.
Happy with my new eating programme.
Maybe I missed it but what new eating program are you trying?

The weather today is so unseasonably warm and gorgeous, I went out for a long walk. Well worth every minute just to have my skin in the sun and breathe the beautiful air.
Sounds like we've flipped flopped weather! It's been unseasonably cold here with the winter storm approaching. I'm hoping to get my daily 10k steps done along with my daily yoga and exercises tomorrow. C2 5k will have to wait til Saturday or Sunday.

Hit a month of walking and exercise a few days ago. Started using 5lb weights for bicep exercises. I'm still using the 2lb ones for triceps and shoulders for now. Continuing daily yoga. I prefer trying to fit in 20 minutes but some days its only 10. Haven't done any hiking between weather and a last minute day trip into the city (which I figured counted as a sub since we used public transit and walked everywhere).
Started with week 1 of c2 5k this week since the weather has been nice. It'll be colder in the morning next week but I'm hoping after that it'll warm again. The current plan is daily walking, c2 5k three times a week, daily yoga, and strength exercises 6 days/week.
No weight or measurement changes yet.

I weighed myself on Sunday. It seems my scale app didn't keep the stats from the previous time and reset everything. 🙄 😒I only cared because both my weight and body fat went up slightly, so I wanted to see what the other measurement were like. Since it doesn't sync to my Fitbit app, I had manually entered the info and could see what my previous weight and body fat numbers were.
No inches lost to report yet.
I'm feeling like I need to start c2 5k. My daily calorie burn seems to already be plateauing and I'm taking that to mean I need to up my game. If the weather starts to warm, I'll start in the mornings before work. Next week I'm going to try using 5lbs weights instead of my 2lbs with some of the Jorge Cruise workout.

Oh, and a question...
Every now and again I'm up between 2-4:30 or 5am for an undermined amount of time. Most nights its anywhere from 30-60 minutes, though it will vary. Last night was 90 minutes between 2-3:30am. 😖 Its much easier to deal with if it happens at 2am vs 4-5am.
Falling asleep isn't much of a problem but staying asleep as I age seemed to have become one. Any tips or suggestions? I already have white noise. If I've exhausted myself during the day, then it's less of an issue but that doesn't happen often. If my work schedule permitted me the ability to just be up for a hour or two and then return to bed, I'd do that. However, I have to be up by 7am if I want to get my morning workouts done.

I, too, always ask for a nice pair of warm socks.
Socks also reminded me of Dumbledore. 😉
