Sounds like my two year old! The only thing I have found to keep him engaged and still is an iPad. More than $40, but if you have one of those, an iPod, or iPhone, download a few toddler apps and give it a try.
I've decided to use MFW Adventures for our upcoming school year. I need to wait until the 8th to order. I want to start August 1. Is it reasonable to expect it to be here on time?
Our only experience so far is two orders with Winter Promise. I love WP, but I think we all know how their shipping is. One of the reasons I decided to use MFW this fall, since I am so delayed in being able to order.
We have a dedicated school space and do most of our work there. I have ADD, so really it is more to keep me on track. We went outside today with all of our books and didn't really get anything done. :p
I have a long time still, but I want to stay home while the kids are in college. I imagine shortly after college there will be weddings to plan and then grandbabies to keep and maybe help teach. So, I have no plans of ever going back! :D
For the 4-6 year olds maybe trace the arm and hand on a piece of cardstock, cut out and glue to another sheet of cardstock. Cut out small mosaic squares in fall colors and let them glue all over for leaves. I do this with my daughter every year and use it as fall art in my kitchen. We usually do fingerprint leaves, but we have done the mosaics.
The only suggestion I have for the older kids is painting. Sorry!
