In the South Beach book it has a recipe using ricotta cheese for several desserts. I can't stand ricotta! What could I use instead?

If you have done SOW for 1st-4th what do you use for history in 5th-8th?

I have a 1st grader, 3rd grader and 7th grader. We are currently doing two cores of Sonlight. I have been thinking of doing Mystery of History up to 8th grade and then Notgrass for high school. Has anyone else done this and been happy with it? Since MOH doesn't have all the volumes completed yet I guess I would need to find something to cover than history span of time.

Does it tell you how to use it for high school?

I am trying to do a MOTH type schedule for our school times. I have three kids ages 11, 8 and 6. I feel like screaming. I love structure so, I don't understand why this is so hard for me to do. :confused: Maybe because I see how I need to be available in three places at one time. It was so much easier for me to schedule school when I only had one child to worry about. Maybe I should just look into the loop scheduling I have seen threads on. Thanks for letting me rant. :D

I am planning to purchase Sonlight's General Science schedule this year. I have looked at the samples online and liked what I saw.

Great ideas Sabrina! We currently use graph paper for math. I like the ideas of different colors of ink to check.

We are using Analytical Grammar. I really like it.

We have used the software and loved it! I will be purchasing the next level. I think the very last level is only in book form, but I'm not really sure. I haven't looked at the books so, I can't be much help with that.

I have some Smucker's Natural peanut butter, it has 6 carbs (4 minus the fiber). Do they have a peanut butter lower in carb than that?
