    Happiness is NOT loading your kids into the car for the library only for the car not to start. Stupid cold weather.

      It was, but we eventually made it to the library and came home with tons of books. Books make everything better.

      Yes! I put off ordering it for years, but I'm so happy we finally took the plunge. Worth. every. penny.

    Twin toddlers are driving me CrAzY! Last night one fell asleep at 8:30 and one at 11. Naptime one asleep at 1 and the other still awake at 3. It's a good thing they're cute!!

      My twins turned eight earlier this month. I remember that toddler stage! Oh, boy! My mom used to say, "When you can tell them to put on their shoes, put on their coats, and get in the van -- and they do it -- you will have reached a new stage." I used to think, "Will that ever happen?" It certainly did, in due time. Hang in there, Twin Mom. Some day you will sleep! :)

      I know they'll get there eventually. . .and then I'll miss these toddler years. There's going to have to be some memory loss involved, but I'm sure I'll look back fondly on this time.

    We had a thorough and productive homeschool day. The concept of having that AND getting some housework done is still illusive to me.

      Yes, true. I can have a clean house, homeschool really well or get all of the errands/appointments done. I cannot do all 3.

    Well. . .I finally finished planning our next school year. That was much more exciting than the idea of finishing the paperwork for this year. . .which I have yet to do. . . .

      I agree. Working on next year & avoiding finishing up filing/cleaning up last year's stuff here too.

    This is the first year I've completely finished our year without having next year planned. Ack! I'm slightly frantic. . .

      That must have meant you had a good year. I always start planning the next year before we are done because I'm bored with this year's stuff. You'll be fine!

      Oh, I'm so sorry! We've been able to sweep ours off the drive! We did 4 neighbors' drives, too, and it took less than an hour.

      You can have it. After I went to bed, I saw a truck with a plow on it come and do my neighbors driveway. Um. . .yep I was jealous. This lovely little stretch I live on gets more snow than anywhere else in the Eastern US. Stupid lake effect. I'm seriously contemplating hiring a truck to do it. It takes them like 2 minutes.
