  1. This and NOT efficient with water. Please use water and clean my clothes! We ended up with SpeedQueen. Best investment ever!
  2. Roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, onions, broccoli & carrots. Cilantro/lime brown rice.
  3. Was this a new build and he wired it? Is it under warranty? If not I'd see if someone knows a reputable electrician.
  4. 20/50 vision in one eye. 20/400 in the other. My mom & sis have same issue though not quite as radical as my difference.
  5. Totally understand what you mean!
  6. My sister has had KIA Optima for almost 8 years. No problems. We sold our 2008 Sedona in February. Bought a 2017 Sedona. Love them!
  7. My sis-in-law introduced me to Pickleball last year. LOVE it! I sometimes play at the senior center if they need a fill in. The men love it if I bring ds13. Though I'm afraid one of them will hurt themselves trying to keep up with him.😊
  8. The number I see is a green 374, just after my name.
  9. OH! MY! WORD! I JUST saw how low my own post count is!!!!! How the heck did I miss that?????? I guess this is a nm post! We've been traveling a lot since May so I haven't been around much but I didn't know there was a shift that reset post counts. Sorry all.
  10. Wow. Did you then start over with same name?
  11. Did not realize this. That would explain a few.
  12. UPDATE: OH! MY! WORD! I JUST saw how low my own post count is!!!!! How the heck did I miss that?????? I guess this is a nm post! We've been traveling a lot since May so I haven't been around much but I didn't know there was a shift that reset post counts. Sorry all.😲 Or is there are an abnormal amount of "new"(low posts members) people asking for help with marriage, parenting, employer issues, b&m school issues, etc.? People who haven't mentioned homeschool at all? Maybe it's just the days I'm able to peek in...
  13. Our local library has a place for magazines. You can leave them there and others can take and enjoy. Most people bring them back and they are taken again. This same library takes book donations and has multiple sales throughout the year to help raise funds for different projects. . .summer reading program, in school programs, etc.
  14. This is what we have done in past. I thought it cost more, though.
  15. Why would governor not let you get one.
  16. I did find this. Q: Why are some states still not compliant? Isn't this law? REAL ID is a mandate on Federal agencies, restricting the circumstances under which they may accept state-issued driver's licenses and identification cards for official purposes. Participation by states is voluntary, although Federal agencies are prohibited from accepting driver's licenses or identification cards from noncompliant states for official purposes (e.g., boarding aircraft, accessing federal facilities, and entering nuclear power plants). My state is compliant but if I keep my non-Real ID license and bring my passport will they let me board an aircraft?
  17. From everything I can find at dhs.gov the only thing the "Real ID" does is allow you the convenience of using only one form of i.d. . After October 2020 you can still use your regular license with a passport or passport card, birth certificate to fly, get into federal buildings, etc. Is there something I'm not seeing? Starting October 1, 2020, every state and territory resident will need to present a REAL ID compliant license/ID, or another acceptable form of identification, for accessing Federal facilities, entering nuclear power plants, and boarding commercial aircraft. This is what we call “card-based” enforcement. The card, itself, must be REAL ID compliant unless the resident is using an alternative acceptable document such as a passport. The Act does not require individuals to present identification where it is not currently required to access a Federal facility (such as to enter the public areas of the Smithsonian) nor does it prohibit an agency from accepting other forms of identity documents other than documents from non-compliant states (such as a U.S. passport or passport card).
  18. Sad to lose such a voice for the people.
  19. Good info. My brother, myself, and one of my kids all experience this. We all tend to do well with medical stuff but if we're sick someone needs to be around.
  20. With oldest I would end up sounding like I did at 13 fighting with my brother. That's when I realized I needed to act like an adult even though, in reality, I wanted to scream and pull hair, hers and mine?.
  21. I've never seen anything like that. Strange.
  22. I have found that as long as I don't react things don't spin out of control. I continue to talk in controlled voice and usually they will even come back and apologize for attitudes.
  23. I agree with you. Hard stuff and shame on her. Pushing costly, possibly painful and truly, how many more years does ANY 14 year old dog have? The average life span of dogs is 10-13 years! Comfort measures? yes.
