  1. Thank you! I really needed support, that was scary!

  2. I'm hoping that you are younger than I am and it just happily went out of fashion after the 1970's. :001_smile:
  3. Having grown up just outside Boston and now living in NH, I can assure you that the proper spelling on that last word is "pissa" you really don't pronounce the r. having said that..I think I had blocked that word from my memory. I hate it more than any word I can think of! I don't usually say, "wicked" as in, "wicked neat!" or "ah, that was wicked cool!" but it does occasionally slip out.
  4. :iagree:That tops my list as well! I also don't like "fart" or any swearing at all. I never have. One more: "ain't" That mkaes me cringe. lol:001_smile:
  5. I am giving up Farmville on FB and playing any game on the internet. Plus we are adding a daily family rosary and going to one daily Mass per week as well as spiritual readings everyday. It doesn't have to be scripture, but learning more deeply about the Catholic faith.
  6. I haven't read past page one. I fiind this thinking rather sad. I also think this is what most working moms who feel guilty about their choice usually say. Now, I am am cutting out of here, because I do actually have to make dinner for my family.
  7. Thanks for the clips!:001_smile: Talking with my elderly mother makes me a little nuts. :auto: I usually come here or other sites to cheer up. :001_smile:
  8. I am so tired of "glass half empty" people. Negativity is so catchy it seems. It is almost enough to make one sad and hurt by everything they say..almost but not quite. Time to be around some positive folks, they are usually upbeat and don't get all sad and hurt at comments not directed at them anyway. That's it.
  9. Life. If we don't start with that one, there isn't much point to any others.
  10. What about if I don't know the song? I'm 44 am I behind? I wasn't with relatives this holiday season and I am so very thankful for that! all I really know is that whenever we are with the cousins my kids are the well behaved ones, and I go home smiling about that. Of course, that is after the lecture on how kids need socialization. lol
  11. I would just like to add that to get rid of the graininess all one needs to do is make sure that a very fine grained salt is used. I used to use whatever I had in the cupboard, and then I tried Diamond Crystal salt. I'm not trying to advertise, but the play dough came out much better! and it is best to add the food colouring to the liquid ingredients to have a more uniform colour.
  12. as for the # I promised earlier... Call this phone number 1-800-524-1328 and have the UPC code 33200-03020. The service will ask for your zip code and then tell you places in your area that sell the item. I believe this service will locate most items if you have the UPC code number.
  13. I get mine for $2.99 my niece gets it for $1.99 both for the 55 ounces.
