  1. Good morning, I had a frustratingly, terrifying night.  I couldn't get my BP to stay down, finally at midnight I took another of my BP pills and it eventually went down and stayed down but, I was afraid to go to sleep for a good long while.  I don't have a clue as to what it was I did to raise it especially so high.  I'm making sure to exercise (walk as much as possible), eat as well as possible, thanks to Angi and drink plenty of water. I see a trip to my primary in my immediate future maybe, today, I don't want another night like last night.

Juliet is putting her herding dog skills to good use as a bunny herder.  When the wascally wabbits get loose in the bedroom where they aren't supposed to go, we send Juliet in after them and she dutifully herds them out.  If we go after them, the bunnies thump in irritation and hide under the bed.

    Good girl, Juliet!

My DH has had this happen with anxiety a couple times. One time the entire left side of his body suddenly felt (to him) as if it were wet and cold, covered with IcyHot, and his left pupil dilated to twice the size of the right. We got him an EKG and a 24 hour heart monitor test and there were no abnormalities. The anxiety forums seemed to indicate that it's something that starts happening all of the sudden when people with a history of panic attacks reach their 30's-40s. We know so, so little about the interaction between mind and body.

Thank you!  I guess I'll call my doctor tomorrow and see what she has to say.  Sigh, just one more thing they'll want to give me a pill for!

  4. Medpo question, I need to know if I'm having a panic attack, stroke or what?  Today Dh and I got into an argument and my heart started pounding (no surprise there) but, I could feel it my ear, only on my left side though.  My arm started hurting, the left side but, there's no slurred speech, no blurry vision, no nothing else.  FTR, I do get yearly check ups so if I'd had a stroke, would my Dr see it?

This is happened before several times and I thought it was my blood pressure but, I'm taking BP meds and I do take them every single day without fail.

  5. Good Thursday morning!  I'm happy for today, I've been looking forward to today since last week.  Jump park and lunch with my4blessings, gassing up the car and stopping at DMV to see if Ds can get his learners permit today.  He's very excited about that, I'm just kind of meh!!

    ((Junie and Dad)) praying

Jean, praying that things go well with Libby at the vet.

Susan, edpo question for you:  do you school over the summer?

  6. Good morning!  I'm up late, this is getting to be such a habit!

We have the usual suspects today regular lessons, grocery pick up, piano and freezing my butt off tonight at soccer practice.  Don't tell anyone but, we're going to play hokey from church tonight and go to soccer so he can get his uniform, he's so excited for it this year.  I did our taxes last night, we're getting a refund!!

Angi, I use flash cards to help with note reading

Maize, I have my Ds practice right before break or snack, that way he's motivated to do it!!

Are we still going to jump park and lunch Thursday?

Half price books, the only bookstore I can afford to go to right now, lol.  Yes!  We're still going on Thursday, I'm so looking forward to it!!

  8. Hi ladies back from my appointment and the bookstore.  Edpo, I found R&S grammar for younger Ds, an extra student textbook for R&S math, which he'll start next month.  I got the extra textbook because I fully intend to allow him to write in his.  I also found a copy of A History of Us the concise edition book A, I figures we could do that for history next year with a few longer books thrown in, books that I fully expect you guys to help me pick out.  Maybe throw in the Draw the USA book that's been on my Amazon wishlist for a year or so and call it good.  Thoughts?
