My 11th grade son has been struggling through Algebra I for 3 years. I’ve tried different curriculum and a tutor. I am not sure what to do as our state requires Algebra 1, 2, Geometry, and 1 other math to graduate. He does well with Geometry. Any advice?

Any moms looking to award credits to the transcript for an 8th grader? And if so, what kinds of credits? I'm looking at biology, writing and possibly ASL.

Apparently Jean Piaget was wrong about kids realizing the conservation of liquid at age 6-7 because my almost 11 y.o. got tripped up by a Singapore Math volume question involving that property. Sigh...
