Do you think it would be okay to use level one of WWE and FLL for a second grader? I haven't done any formal writing and grammar curriculum for my son and was looking at different programs. I wasn't sure if I should skip the first level and go right into the second or start from the beginning so he doesn't miss anything.

Does Saxon Math line up closely to the correct grade level or is it a little behind on state standards? I was just curious if Saxon Math 2 is good for second grade or if Saxon 3 is supposed to be used instead. Thanks!
