  1. Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby and Michaels also have reasonable yarn selections.
  2. Look up 4 ingredient peanut butter cookies, they are really good spaghetti squash in place of noodles some of the Zatarans fish fry are GF and corn based not rice based.
  3. https://brazibites.com are good but not really sandwich bread I have a cross between a pound cake and angel food cake made from potato starch that is pretty good I have made a pizza crust that is a block of philadelphia cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup shredded mixed cheese
  4. Well, I ended up sick anyway...though not as bad as dh and dd. I have only had a fever, stomach cramps, and tired. It started last night. Dd and dh are eating light but are doing much better. They can at least take care of themselves and the dog.
  5. SereneHome, if you don't put homeschooling somehow on a resume then what do you do to justify the gap? I haven't been involved in co-ops or any such thing so nothing to put in there. I am just asking because I submitted a resume and cover letter today where I didn't mention it on the resume but did on the cover letter. ETA: I am applying for occasional engineering jobs, so nothing similar to education. I only added it to the cover letter in 1 sentence to explain the gap.
  6. We are still taking precautions, I am washing hands a lot and dh is dealing with the worst of the clean up. I bought an extra bottle of clorox clean up and a container of clorox wipes and know how to use them.
  7. Dh is doing better, no more symptoms, but is tired. He actually ate some pancakes. Dd has quit having symptoms and has eaten some pancakes as well. I am thankful that she was having symptoms for a much shorter time. I am still doing ok, but I am not yet in the clear. Thank you guys.
  8. My concern about me getting sick skyrocketed when she did and then I cleaned up the bathroom after her. I did shower afterwards but I have been playing with her all day today too. Thankfully she is sleeping right now and dh has been helping her out when needed to try and help me maybe not get it. SaveSave
  9. Dh is doing better and so far dd and I are not sick.
  10. Possible but no head cold symptoms to go with it.
  11. He's been running a fever that tylenol is helping and he is now able to keep water down. He has also slept some. He didn't have a good night.
  12. It is possible, but I don't know. I slept in a different room so I will find out how he is doing when he gets up later. The only possibility for food is something that I cooked on Monday night and he ate leftovers last night, it was pork not fish. It was at least 3 hours after eating that he started getting sick. Not sure how long it takes for bad food to make you sick.
  13. He has been pretty sick for the last hour or so and is chilled. His temp was right at 98.6 which his usually runs a little lower. So far dd and I are good and hoping we don't get it. Now dd(7) has it just as bad as dh had it Thursday night and dh still has some symptoms but is not as bad as he was. **Update in post 24 3/16 - We are all officially over it now. Dh had it the worst, dd not as bad but still bad, and I wasn't as bad as either of them. Today dd and I are working on trying to eat a regular amount of calories and making sure we really replenish with water. We have washed all the bedding, dh has cleaned all the bathrooms and wiped down all the light switches, door knobs, handles that he can think of, tomorrow we are going to mop all the floors. Overall each of us were pretty miserable for about 5 days each. I don't remember having a stomach bug that was that bad in the past. Hopefully none of you guys will end up with it.
  14. Have you considered Pass Christian or Gulfport MS? I haven't been to Alabama beaches but the beaches in MS are nice.
  15. We like Surfside beach and there is a nice waterfront hotel with a restaurant there called Ocean Village. I am sure there were rentals there as well. Not sure how the area is after the hurricane.
  16. I would but I have driven big trucks, there are also some big cities that it is really a pain to park a big truck, so I would consider that too.
  17. Just be glad it isn't an adult family circle of friends. We deal with either our smaller group of grandparents and dd's aunt and uncle or else we have to have all of dh's aunts and uncles because they all talk to each other and you just can't invite one set without the others.
  18. NC VA and/or WV mountains, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, hike some on the AT, visit Monticello, visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, tour some caverns. visit some waterfalls. If you want more info I can tell about some specific places.
  19. Don't let what you find online scare you off. I am not artsy and use it as a planner, journal, notes type thing so that I don't have sheets of paper all over the place and can find my stuff all in one place. I usually don't eve follow all the sign conventions for the tasks. I have made it work for me without it being crazy. SaveSave
  20. That is the smaller one, I want the A5 size which I don't think comes in hardback and squared.
  21. Thank you all, I had looked at these but not on their website and missed that they do graph paper.
  22. I am about to finish my current and only bullet journal so far. It is a moleskine with no lines, no dots and is the medium size. I like the hard book cover, the size and the elastic but would like to have graph paper type paper. I have used it over about 2 years so I need one that will hold up to being carried around. Do you have a brand that you really like that fits this description. A pen holder would be nice but not necessary. ETA I have considered the Eccolo from Office Depot but haven't made my way over there to look at it. I am not sure of the quality so if you have knowledge of this please share.
  23. If you want a lyme test call around to drs and ask if I make an appointment will you give a lyme test. If the answer is no call the next doctor on the list. We had to do this with vets when our dog had lyme. He was a tough dog, I found video on how symptoms in dogs and it was 100 % my dog. We called around to vets and found one that would give him the test. We took him in and the vet said he didn't act like he had lyme, but did the test anyway. He was off the charts with lyme. You might try researching lyme experts in your area.
