I always give up most of my social media for Lent, but with the election, I finally got fed up with Facebook, so for the tail end of Lent, I'm giving up Facebook and hanging out in this lovely, civil, election free social media zone with all of you wonderful people instead. Sanity now, please.

  I 'gave up' facebook on boxing day. It's been 2 1/2 months now and I'm enjoying the freedom ;) .

  Usually I like FB. It's low commitment, which is why I stay on. I have some online friends on there and do a couple of groups, but mostly it's a lot of high school and college friends and family so that's nice. It's just gotten so weird over there. First time ever for me getting really fed up with FB and politics. I've been through many election cycles without it getting to me. The world has clearly changed though.
