My daughter is ready to start spelling. She's almost finished a complete phonics program. She reads like a champ. And she is writing her own letters and stories (with terrible spelling). So, I am looking into purchasing a spelling program.
What spelling program do you all recommend and why?
The Well Train Mind recommends "Spelling Workout (1994)." Do you recommend this?
Also, it looks like the publishers updated Spelling Workout in 2001... Is there a significant difference between these two versions of Spelling Workout (1994 and 2001)? Does The Well Trained Mind still endorse Spelling Workout's newest edition (2001)?
