  1. Does anyone have a schedule lining up the Drive Thru History DVDs with MOH? Thanks!
  2. Classical House of Learning uses this title in lesson 2 of her Literature Guide for Ancient Times for the Logic stage. She has questions, vocabulary, dictations, plus some activities. It is really well done and free! I used this book with my ds12. I would think it would be best for jr high or high school.
  3. We're about halfway through Pre-Alg and we have not used them at all. I'm still wondering when and if we're ever going to use the Algebra/Decimal Inserts as well.
  4. Thank you so much for your reviews! So, it sounds like this curriculum provides a great introduction to Spanish or supplements another program like Rosetta Stone, but would not provide high school level instruction. Is that a correct assumption?
  5. I just got an email from Homeschool Buyers Coop offering a deal on R.E.A.L Homeschool Spanish. It looks like it could be a lot of fun and is a great price. Has anyone used this or know anything about this curriculum? I'm thinking it must have just recently come out, because I can't find any reviews or info other than from their website. Anyone have any experience with it?
  6. Besides the bed trick, I would remind my dd that the line comes BEfore the circle for a b. That seemed to help her a lot.
  7. Can you tell me where this was announced?
  8. I'm in the exact same boat as you. I'm doing Beta with my dd and we've hit the same wall with my daughter crying and saying she hates math. I know it's because she still doesn't have her facts memorized. She also is very right brained and visual. I decided to try Math Mammoth and bought the Add & Subtract 2A from the Blue series (the download only costs $4.50) to see if that will help her learn her facts, especially the relationship between the addition and subtraction facts, i.e. fact families. We just started this morning and she did the first lesson. She loved it! I'm not sure if it was because the first lesson was so easy or if it was a different format. We'll see how it goes. I'm also trying to play more math type games since she loves games.
  9. MOH was written as a stand-alone history course. However, they do have a list of supplemental books and resources that correlate with each lesson in the back of the book, but nothing is required except the text itself.
