  1. We would like to teach calculus AB at home. However, I'm having trouble finding tests and their solutions for a particular text. I know solutions for odd-numbered problems are available from a variety of sources. The publishers for Anton, Bivens, and Davis' texts will not grant homeschool teachers access to the test bank. Therefore I'd like to use Larson's Early Transcendentals text. It does not have to be the latest edition. Has anyone found trustworthy access to a test bank with solutions for Larson's Early Transcendentals or another a well-respected calculus text? Some test banks are available from third parties online, but I wonder if these sources are legitimate.
  2. Has anyone used Lee Binz's Comprehensive Record Solution for writing course descriptions and making a transcript? Do you think it was worth the cost? It seems pricey. The templates in Microsoft Word appeal to me the most. OTOH, my dd is in ninth grade, so I've got time to develop my own. I'm just not sure if it's worth my time to "reinvent the wheel". Julie
  3. I'm considering using MFW AHL for ancient history in ninth grade next year. We're devoted IEW users, and I'd planned to use IEW's Elegant Essay, Teaching the Classics, and Windows to the World for ninth grade. However, I've read good reviews of the writing instruction provided in AHL's literature and composition supplement. What do you think about using the IEW courses listed and AHL minus the lit and composition supplement? Thanks for any feedback. Julie
