  1. We have used both Catholic Mosaic and A year with God- Our kids loved Catholic Mosaic-they are in 3,2,and K. I think a 5th grader would still like the books. With Catholic Mosaic I loved how we had about a book a week to read and then we did a little project and could locate where the book took place on a map etc.
  2. What age range do you feel the History of Christendom is appropriate for? It looks great!
  3. Hi- We are about to finish 100 EZ lessons- I have seen on here that people have used the OPGTR after this. For those of you who have done this did you start at the beginning? Or more to the middle? Thanks!

  5. Hi We have used SOTW for the last 3 years-I have just been using the maps that are in the AG along with a globe and a world map on our wall. Do you think it is helpful to also use something like Blackline Maps of World History or something similiar? Or is the AG map enough? Thanks!
  6. Hi Three of our kids (9,7,5) are taking Suzuki violin lesssons and they love it. Our oldest begged to play the violin when she was 2-if it wasn't for her we never would have gotten into violin. So found a teacher and she started and it literally changed our lives. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is a lot of work but worth it. It is a great match for a homeschooling family. Before we started we took her to observe some violin lessons and went to a violin camp to make sure she really wanted to do it. She has been playing now for 5 years practices almost 2 hours a day and plays in a quartet with other young musicians. ANd we never have to make her-she loves it as do her 2 younger brothers. Another good book to read is They're Rarely Too Young...and Never too Old to Twinkle by Kay Slone Good luck :)
