  1. Oh I'm so glad it's a good update. I've prayed for your son. I hope things continue to improve.
  2. You’ll have to make laaaaaaahhhhhhhbster biiiiiisssssque for dinner!
  3. So many from So I Married an Axe Murderer. So many. Better off Dead ”This fabulous le-core!” ”Sorry about your mom Ricky” The whole Howard Cosell bit Princess Bride “Inconceivable!” ”You keep using that word. . . “ “Never go up against a Sicilian when death is on the line!” Groundhogs Day. “Oooh it’s an earthquake!” Any time we get behind a little old driver going slow. That inevitably leads into the bit about “you totaled it” and “it’s that nice young man from the motor club!” “Too early for flapjacks?” “They’re hicks, Rita”
  4. My youngest is 11 and I can still recite that book from memory!
  5. Honestly, with my picky crowd, I'd do some sort of a ranch dip. I know it's pedestrian, but it would get eaten.
  6. Julie something. And it was NorCal. I ate at her restaurant once and PMed her about it. I’ve since moved states and I’ve wondered if it’s still there.
  7. I think I'd be a squeaky wheel at the state board of ed. Keep calling back to see if she gets a different answer or gets someone more willing to help.
  8. We have two Lenovos which we've been very happy with.
  9. I would complain to gym management about that kind of behavior.
  10. Amazing. I had some happy tears for you reading this.
  11. I love Baggalini purses. I’ve owned several and many styles have a built-in wallet if that interests you.
  12. I have people I trust with information. But in the issues I am dealing with currently, it’s hard to discuss without violating the privacy of a third party. So I withhold a lot. So goes parenting teens and young adults.
  13. The only time I've had it, my MIL made it and the dressing on it was disgusting.
  14. The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. It's a collection of stories about US soldiers in Vietnam. It gets graphic and heavy and I have to read it in small chunks. However, the author writes beautifully. The Bright Side of Disaster by Katherine Center. This is more lighthearted fiction about a pregnant woman who unexpectedly finds herself as a single mother.
  15. The Great British Bake-off. It gets formulaic but they’re all so kind to each other. Kims Convenience.
  16. I've been known to say, "Tell me the end of this story."
  17. Those are called scones in Idaho and Utah and not at all like what the British (and probably pretty much the rest of the world) call scones. 😄
  18. I just ordered these too. I feel better ordering from B & H than from Amazon in this case.
  19. I’d make them separate but mail them together
  20. Mine does. It’s a Breville toaster that I bought Feb of 2012 though, so Amazon doesn’t sell it anymore. That might be a brand to check out though.
  21. Oh I'm so sorry. Sending you long distance hugs and chocolate (or whatever comfort food/beverage of choice).
