  1. Any one got a link to the ranks? I mean, I know I don't talk a lot, but I'd like to know what my next "rung" up the "social ladder" is going to be!
  2. The 6-12 dosing should be fine for her. We've given 3 year olds with serious issues the adult dosing. Full disclosure disclaimer: I'm a pediatrics RN. I am not a doctor. I am not diagnosing anything nor am I prescribing any treatment.
  3. My daughter will be 6th grade and will take Phys Science at our co-op. Any math concepts that are foreign to her that come up during the course of the year will be taught as we go. I am not going to stress her out over any math that is over her head. I'll explain it and demonstrate it, but if the math concept is just too over her her head, we'll keep moving on with the science. And I think I may "know" you. I think we have a Facebook group in common and we'll be attending the same co-op.
  4. Now you just need a CISS to go with that Epson printer! ;)
  5. I'd send a jar of honey & a moon pie, but I'm a snarky b****!
  6. You're going during the overlap of free dining with food & wine, right? You haven't made reservations? You're going to end up with some eclectic choices at odd meal times.
  7. Some places have extended stay mini-suites.
  8. This one drives me nuts because it's not really a word: irregardless. It's a terrible mangling.
  9. I want to have room for DAs! We color-code our kids here too. Used to drive me nuts when I'd come home and DH had given the kids the "wrong" colored cups.
  10. I don't have any Ikea experience since we don't have one here. We did our kitchen with unfinished cabinets from Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/Kitchen-Cabinets-Cabinet-Hardware-Assembled/h_d1/N-5yc1vZary9/R-202020625/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051&superSkuId=203548833#.UCVUDJ1lQjE We did it ourselves and it wasn't a terrible experience. Of course, this only works if you're handy. The cabinets cost us less than $1000 and I think the countertop, being laminate, was inexpensive as well.
  11. Nope. I know exactly what it is! It chirps on a regular basis when I cook something in a frying pan.
  12. it's driving my poor dog nuts! It makes a chirp about every 30-60s. She claws her way into my lap and then jumps back down. :glare: I finally put her outside! (The smoke detector is chirping because I made french toast. Don't ask!)
  13. You're a Christian in the church building and out of it. Missing organized service on a Sunday or Wednesday doesn't mean you can't have "home" church service before the competition.
  14. Absolute must is a second pair of shoes. You never know when you'll be in *that* seat on Kali River Rapids. I was in *that* seat with my DS one trip. We were both soaked. And I mean everywhere soaked. I could not have gotten wetter if I'd stepped into the shower fully dressed.
  15. We buy Skechers and New Balance when the BTS prices are around. I can usually find NB with a BTS sale for $30-40/pair.
  16. We're light packers. I can pack each of my kids into a small pilot case and a toiletries carryon or backpack. We don't fly though. We're only 11 hours from WDW so we drive. I bought my kids' luggage from Disney online, but they don't have anything similar to it anymore. It was a small set with a small pilot case, a carryon mini-duffel and a small backpack. (Think pre-school/daycare size backpack. Really small!) We use the backpacks for in the car stuff. Coloring books, DvDs, tablets. etc. The carryon is for socks/undies. The pilot case is for their clothing. Toiletries go in the adults' luggage.
  17. I hit Quick Reply and didn't read any one else's reply. Wasn't she pregnant and delivered while on this expedition? That had to be HARD and EXHAUSTING!
  18. Yeah. We need to petition for cups or "tuck and duck" for the next Olympics.
