  1. We use the Kaspersky paid version. We have been happy with it.
  2. Speech is either an English credit or elective around here. I like the art history idea. I just looked at our local school's classes and they have American Art History as an option.
  3. As for the refurbished ones, we have several and have no problems.
  4. I would just tell them to go and have a great time. They can have fun and you can sit back and rest. You really don't want to be out on a bike trail and have something happen, that would not be fun for anyone. Anyone that loves you will understand.
  5. I would check to see what type of writing the school teaches and work from there. We have a program called StartWrite that we use. You can pick different types of printing & cursive writing and make your own work sheets. You can make up sheets with lines and arrows to follow and progress from there.
  6. I would check out you local bookstore. They should have mazes & dot to dots. Also handwritting sheets or one of those wipe of boards? I know Staples carries them. Puzzles would be good. How about audio books from the library with matching read along book?
  7. I'm not sure about one that incorporates Geography but Abeka's Geography is only a semester and could easily be added in to any program over the course of a year.
  8. Could it be that ds just wasm't interested in doing that activity? I have one child that would do that if it wasn't something he wanted to be doing.
  9. This happened to my dd when she was younger, even with a high fiber diet she was always getting consitpated. She has been better since we took her off dairy. The blockage does not always come our with the new stool. We spent weeks giving her meds to clear her intestines and they still would not clear all the way.
  10. I have shut mine down before, sometimes it is the perfect thing to do. :grouphug:
  11. I love going to our convention. I didn't get to go last year, I hope I can go this year.
