  1. Just sent an email...we shall see...

    Here's my update:

    Hello,

I am sorry to know about the disappointment you had because of not receiving email for $60.00 promotional offer on Kindle. That's definitely not what we want our customers to experience.

The company aims to consistently deliver a professional service to our customers and I would like to state that on this occasion the level of service you received was unacceptable.

Please be assure that Amazon.com and all its partner websites treat all the customers equally and are available at their service 24x7. I'd like to inform you that, this promotional benefit is still running with Amazon and we're trying to offer this promotional benefit to maximum customer.

Please note that promotional email has been sent randomly to customers. I've checked your history and I would like to thank you for your ongoing support and continual purchasing throughout the years. Your purchase history is outstanding and I would personally like to keep your patronage. You are certainly the type of customer that we would like to retain.

In appreciation to your valuable business, I'd request you to place an order for a new kindle device from your account and please let us know the order details and we'll refund $60.00 on the order once the order ships out.

Please accept it as a goodwill gesture and an apology for adding to your stress level on this special occasion.

I am once again sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused to you. The company is actively working to improve service levels and your feedback has proved to be invaluable. You are our regular customer and we would like to continue our relationship with you. I request you to forgive us as we promise you a better service next time.

Your patience and understanding is highly appreciated in this matter. Thanks for using kindle.

  2. From what I understand West allows you to work for more than one company, I believe the other companies vary. Then again, that may have changed. I've only been with West for the past 6 years. I have this phone: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Plantronics-T10-Corded-Headset-Telephone/13221631

I only paid $63 for it last year, but to be honest, I used a regular phone with a headset for almost 5 years before I invested in a good phone.

  3. I'm seeing a red flag, I have to pay for my own background check? I'm also not seeing how are schedules done? Pay rate?

I didn't have to pay for my background check, butt hat may have changed. You pick your own schedule and you can pick up hours in 30 min increments. Depending on the client you are assigned to, hours vary. Some offer 24 hours around the clock, but for GE, hours are between 7am-10pm ET on weekdays, 8am-6pm ET on weekends. I work anywhere from 15-40 hr a week. In fact, I'm working right now. Pay rate varies by client as well. GE pays $8 an hour, but during the busy season (coming up during the holidays) you can get premium pay into $10.50 an hour. You won't get rich, but it's convenient and save on gas and time.
